But as of characters i think there could be ,there's a pattern. Cause in 0.9 Metaknight and Samus were confirmed before apex , In 0.9b Zero Suit Samus was confirmed before apex also. Now in Beta Isaac and Bowser were confirmed before apex. So there is definitly gonna be more characters on way.

Based on the placement of the locked slot, it's very obvious that the slot belongs to Dedede. Or it could be a new Nintendo series.
The new organization of the roster has also changed somewhat, now it's based on when the character debuted. Isaac's position in the roster is weird though, I need to figure that out soon.

Yeah after thinking about it for a while, I think I already know why Isaac is there, he's there with Zelda and Samus, there's obviously an unlockable character, and it's probably Ganondorf or a new Zelda character like Skull Kid or Midna.
So far they have shown 2 characters and it is the first day of APEX.
Three more characters will be shown maybe?
My bet is Dedede, Ganondorf, and a third-party or new Nintendo series addition. (Could be Ice Climbers like Doq mentioned for some reason.

But It Is Possible That They Could Move The Roster Around Cause If You Look Near The Bottom Row There Is Alot More Spaces Between Them So Maybe It Was Put There Because They Were In A Rush Before Apex

I honestly think it's the Ice Climbers. They just got their 30th anniversary today. Also, it seems that the Devs have been testing the feature of having an NPC follow you (Telly Vision, Lakitu)

It is very possible , but i think they were in a hurry with the direct a week before and the fact that the character select looks a bit off at apex. It Can Be Anyone!
-It also possible that they could have characters not announced at apex. Cause classic mode has to be there for a reason. Maybe there's a unlockable after beating classic mode.

I just really hope it's Pit!!! The hype is real. I think it's either one of those: Pit, Ice Climbers, or King Dedede. I could see another newcomer too. Isaac's position is indeed weird, maybe it's a place holder? maybe they will re-arrange it before they reveal another new character? *cough Skull Kid cough*

My predictions: PIT AND SKULL KID.

This is technically our 2nd character revealed, usually McleodGaming reveals up to three characters, I think were just going to get Dedede as the last surprise of APEX. Or Skull Kid as the surprise because Greg Mcleod.

They Have Said That If They Were To Show More Characters They Wont Show It Here , And That The Roster Placement Does Not Matter What Character Is Released. So Anything Can Happen ^_^

It's probably a newcomer from a new series,i don't think we need to wait 3 days for a veteran :S

If it is a veteran character, I speculate that it could be Dedede, Pit, Olimar or Ice Climbers and if it is a newcomer then I speculate it to be Luffy, Snake, Simon Belmont, Skull Kid, Midna or Klonoa.

Since when is Snake a newcomer? Did I miss something?
