"I see, this one avoids conflict... he has good reason to, as well." Lex pumped his arm. "We're the strongest fighters you'll ever meet. It would be terrible to get on our bad side, lad. Now tell me, what's your name?" He was under the tree, now. Stopping down, he snatched up the man's bow and quiver and held them for a bit. "Hm.. you don't seem like you'd be that good in an unarmed scrap. It seems you really weren't looking for a fight. Very well, come with us. I have a feeling you would do better in a group rather than alone." He jogged toward Leon and quickly tossed the bow at him. "Think fast."

Leon turned around and quickly caught the Bow, nearly droping it in the process.

"We about done now?" Leon asked and stopped. "I'd like to get to that glowing now."

He was becoming impaitent and it was showing, now more then ever.

"Fine, fine. Gods, you're impatient." Lex threw the quiver over to the boy and watched him stumble for it. "Haha... so, your name?" He smiled curiously at him. The look was eerie, yet calming. A gentle breeze quieted the intensely stalled moment. Time seemed to slow to a crawl, allowing the spirits a lapse in their eternal drifting. The grin never wavered, never faded; just a smooth, hardened leer.

The rock flew and nailed the dragon in it's eye, causing it to rear back in pain giving a roar of anger and fustration. It was not blinded though. The dagger Gabriel through hit it's underbelly, but did only a small cut before he ran away. The dragon now was incredibly pissed off, clsoing it's hurt eye and glaring at the pegasus knight that had hurt him. It shook it's head and brought it's head back, regaining it's footing.

" I bet you are..." He mumbled audibly, with a calm and plain face. He looked over at the other person, then back at the swordsman. "Ermm." "Kevin, Post." "And you two?" He asked, walking forward slowly.

Still making sure that they backed away from the entrance of the alley she ducked down and picked up another rock which she immediately threw as well. Windy kept her armour clad wings in front of her to protect them all. Tania was worried about the current state of Rana, was he in some sort of coma and how did he shoot out all that darkness. Her palms felt sweaty but she held onto her newly acquired lance, if things went well she would keep her lance, if they didn't she was ready to give up the lance she had already grown attached to.

(The epic return!! fear her majesty! bow down to her will! the shaman has come back!... @.e; ill try and actually keep up this time.. finals are next week but after that im freeeee D: )

Curling her hand in front of her face; strings of nether energy seamlessly melded from thin air, and slithered from several directions directly into her palm. They had a misty look to them. Being somewhat transparent as they merged together. Converged into one single point, these strings of darkness suddenly burst from their loose and wayward form into a single solitary concentrated orb. This sphere produced a faint purple glow across Tara's grinning expression. She felt as if Her power was beginning to ascend. As if her ties to the netherworld were strengthening and she would soon take the next step up in her prowess. Her gaze drifted from her work of magic and malice and on over to the smaller dragon before her, viciously clamping down on the man, his armor buckling under the pressure as some others tried frantically to saved him.

She wondered to herself just how well this scaly over-sized vermin dealt with dark magic.. she would soon find out nonetheless... She began to rear back her arm. The concentrated orb keeping in pace with her movement, hovering over her palm and curled fingers. within it, a deep-black void resided; and it seemed to be giving off its own force. As her hand passed across her shoulder, her strands of black hair churned as if by wind. The farther she reared her arm, the harder it seemed to pull the force backward.. as if she was yanking on gravity itself and it steadily fought back against the force exerted upon it.

Reaching a point past her shoulder, her stance was now as if she had a ball in her hand she was about to throw, only that her legs braced themselves and her free arm held out in front of her. She was readying herself for its trajectory. With strands of her hair strewn across her face, eyes narrowing on her target, tanned skin showing a hint of perspiration, slowly exhausting herself..She would let it go. flinging her arm forward, a shock wave dispersing from her palm at the moment the orb let loose. Her feet skidding a few inches across the ground beneath her as she pushed backward; hardly able to keep her balance. The orb of energy shot across the environment, distorting the air around it. Making it hazy.. twisted even..though it returned to normal the moment the orb left that particular part of the atmosphere.

The orb curved upwards over the beast and made a sudden stop. Tara's hand was still curled, and aimed in its general direction.. she had stopped it.. she had governed its movements indeed. Her eyes grew malicious.. psychotic.. as if she was being corrupted by an unseen entity. She would need to wrap this up soon..

Extending her fingers out, the orb burst out and flattened to create yet another vortex. It was stable however.. for the time being anyway. Being about 4-feet in diameter, Tara had dared not extend it farther.. instability would mean her life and a flurry of malevolent spirits roaming free..

Then, a call of despair echoed out of its depths.. and just as before, a swarm of slithering worm-like dark follicles erupted forth, intending to assault the smaller dragon. How effective would this be? what would be the repercussions? especially if it was ineffective? these thoughts actually.. didn't go through her mind.. only pure intention.. pure desire to ravage this beast.. not even to really save the man, but to see carnage.. she was losing her mind the longer this prolonged.

"Why, thank you for asking.. I am Lexington Borne Serif. But you may call me Lex. As you can see, I am a myrmidon to most, but am quite a skilled sword fighter. You're obviously an archer, which we lack. I think this may work out for the better if you remain in close regard to our trust." Leon wouldn't stop walking toward the light. "But, I guess we need to keep going or we'll be left behind. Wait up, you oaf!" Lex scrambled after him.

The attack landed, the darkness Tara used not corrupting her through some miracle. Despite her attack lading and injuring the dragon, Zesper was injured severly. The Dragon bit down hard, a loud sickening crack sound was heard and then it let go moving back and rearing it's head back as it stumbled. Zesper dropped to the ground, his arm was a mess off blood, a large indention in his right shoulder, his armor was cracked, part of his left side was bleeding due to another puncture. He needed medicle attention. The Dragon shook it's head, blood ran down the side of it's neck from a gash, a growing one due to the slash wound and the knife opening it more. Tekun and Eton backed away, this dragon was far from finished, but what they were doing was a start.

The other dragon avoided the rock, glaring angrily. The dragon rushed through the ally, destroying the sides of the building in the process, doing little damage to itself. It rammed as it opened it's mouth, the pegasus's armor protected it from the fangs, but it was pushed away, knocking Rana off and away from the pegasus and leaving Tania vulnerable. As the dragon followed through, it slammed it's jaws shut, cutting against part of Tania's arm and armor. Part of her armor was torn off, and a painful gash was left on Tania's arm. The dragon moved it's head back, ignoring the fact its face scraped against the lance.

*Nothing torn off Tania, a gash/deep cut was made on her left arm though.*

"Not stopping Lex." Leon said approaching the glow, it was clear now it was a campfire. He imagined the warmth of it. Perhaps there was somethign there to loot as well. "Let's get going." He ignored the new addition to the group, Kevin.

Tears sprung to her eyes, it was at these moments in her career that she always wondered what a lady such as herself was doing in this act of fighting against all manner of monstrosities. The dragon had done what she had finally wanted it to do, it had shortened the distance between her and the dragon, she raised her good arm and with a loud groan of exertion she threw the spear into the neck of the dragon, where its large jugular vein pulsed in unison with its heart. She was afraid that it wouldn't bring an end to the dragon, she hit her back on the back wall of the alley, "So that's why they call it a dead end" she thought to herself.

"Free heat!!" Lex exclaimed as he did a meaningless dive-tuck-and roll toward the now near campsite. He crawled through the underbrush as if he were on a stealth assassination mission, waiting for the right moment to strike. He figured now was as good a time as any to waste as much energy as he could so that he may restore it with fresh, new fullness through a good night's sleep. He quietly stalked the fire, heeding its every movement, its silent flickering and baffling inconsistency.

It was true, fire being the heat and light energy released during a combustion reaction. He noted the flame's color and intensity. The heavy, sulfuric air of the mountains increased its power to a staggering double that of a normal bonfire. Even wandering as close as five feet would leave him severely... warm. But, nonetheless, this wasn't a normal fire. The blaze's tendrils licked at the air, as if it were feeding... of course! This was no fire! Why had he not noticed the evil aura, the foreboding essence that should have stilled his heart upon approaching this forsaken place. The fire was nothing less than a great serpentine inferno demon!

Lex unsheathed his blade and flung himself head on into the encampment and swatted at the roasting fire with incredible speed and accuracy. Each slice of his blade was a severing of bonds between the hellspawn and its master. Every time a tentacle reached for air, it met a quick swing from the myrmidon's refined swordplay. He was moving so quickly, the fire itself seemed to almost form a ball, as there were no more living appendages sprouting forth from its hide.

Lex continued to stab and swing erratically at the embers, caught up in his delusion of demons and malcontent. So awkward was this display that it could have easily been a fanfare of drunken splendor. Not many could recreate the act of a lunatic slicing at imaginary foes so accurately as he had. In fact, no ordinary man had ever attempted such a crazy notion. But Lex Serif was something else... he was a loon. An eccentric, charming, slightly reckless fool, but a good friend, no matter the cause.

Leon stared at Lex and his insane drunkard act in confussion.

"We about done?" He asked and stopped impaitently at his excentric companion. The camp site was now in sight, he turned around and looked at it to see someone was resting there already. He gave a grin. He could score some nice things from this poor sap, money, things to sell.

"Lex, we got a resting man here in the camp fire. What are you thinking?"

The lance was thrown at the dragon, but due to the arm injury, it missed it's mark but by some mircale still scraped across the dragon's neck, the spear sticking in it's neck, staying in place. It moved back in pain and then lunged at Tania, clamping it's fangs around waste, destroying part of the wall behind her and lifting her in the air. Clamping down tight. The lance she through was in reach yet. It was her last chance, if she did nothing or nothing effective, it was all but over.

Tania felt very faint, she had to force herself to stay strong, she wouldn't die. She promised she was going to return to her father, her friends and her servants which she all loved. What would Windy do without her, she stretched her arm as far as it could go, the dragon's warm saliva felt disgusting on her skin, and the pain was unbearable. She stretched her arm and grabbed the edge of the lance and pushed it deeper into its wound, and then pulling it out violently leaving a large jagged wound. She screamed loudly, the pain that had come with all that force was too much for her. She felt the world fading from light to dark, and back to light, perhaps Rana was doing something again, she wondered to herself, she knew that she was probably going to black out. She urged herself to stay awake and with her good arm she plunged the lance she had removed into the dragons gums.

Windy flapped her wings powerfully, she had left Rana's body behind, her mistress was much too important to her. She saw the dragons bloody neck and stopped flying, stretching her wings flat and riding the warm air currents, she silently floated towards the dragon. Her armoured wings, flew toward the deep cut and tried to slice it as if her wings were knives, she quickly flew up to evade the dragon, while going up she saw her mistress in the dragon's mouth. She continued to fly upwards preparing to shoot straight back down.

"I'm thinking we kill him. I can feel an evil aura about him. He should be punished. Shall I do the honors? He seems to be sleeping rather... soundly, but I want to be careful. I have a light step, it would be an easy target." He stood next to Leon and turned back to see what the sleeping man was doing. He had not so much as stirred or rolled over. "Really, this is simple."
