Dude, devs are developers. They make all the games. Unless you are a dev, you won't get a dev account.

the games? There is only one game that the developers work on. I'm affraid you are a little wrong, let me explain to you: DEVs are just normal members with the ability to look into the 'DEV section', wich was created for Cleod to get a more organised view on the project, and to discuss matters that Cleod prefers to keep secret from the rest of the world. The DEV section also allows easier interaction with Cleod himself and the rest of the DEV team. Other then that, DEVs are normal members (actually, they are normal members already, I don't view myself as anyone special with any importance to this site, so to say) To clear some confusion: A DEV is not a special account, you can get the ability to look in the DEV section (basically: DEV status) any time, if Cleod sees potentional in you, that is. You don't need to be a Developer to contribute to the project though, you can also go to the SSF2 Section. Develop is anyone who develops. It isn't a MG exclusive term, dude. And, if in the future there is any other game that needs mass contribution, there could be other dev(eloper)s too. What he said is right, you may help in a software development, but not in a continuous and "massive" way, and so not being considered a developer of said software. And you don't get a dev account if you aren't chosen to be a developer, to work more directly on its production, if you don't help with anything. NOW, what the other guy probably meant is how you become a dev, in a less obviously worded way. Well, in some (ususally lame) projects, you become a developer just by asking, and maybe he wanted to be sure. Really Devs are just normal people that help cleod sometimes(thats wat i think ur point is). Talking to a DEV is just like talking to someone in the foru nutin special or anything.There is only one reason i might want to be a DEV(I want to meet and talk to Greg Mcleod without all the random people who i dont really know lookin into the conversation)
