If this counts, I've played around in the waiting room, but that's about it since the servers keep kicking me out. We all just have to be patient.

I had a solid Canada to Netherlands connection, minimal input lag. Very impressed!

After sitting through lag and countless messed up passwords to finally play SSF2 online, I figured out that my Internet still sucks a lot. Matches were really laggy and it was hard to win matches with the input lag. One person even gave up and SD'd to end the game. If you played against me, I was Nexus. At least in game, I was still DismalAmoeba. I couldn't find any rooms to join, but people could join mine. I wonder if 2v2 matches could work.

I'll probably give this another chance when I'm in a place with better Wi-Fi.

Side note, I've been staring at a Please Wait screen for 5 minutes now. I'm thinking about just closing the game.

I seem to be in the same boat as the people who can't get past the waiting room. But it's really good to beat up sandbag again! I notice it's way heavier than previous counterparts. And that get up animation xD

I just wish people would stay on the room long enough so i can enjoy the waiting room and sandbag more xP.

The online so far in SSF2 is probably the worst online I have ever played. When I play with someone it ALWAYS glitches out to wear I turn invisible and then when I grab someone they just stop and there where times where the none of my controls would work and by far is probably the worst online experience. Even worse then brawls in my opinion.

It's a problem with your internet, most likely.

Don't blame it on the game. Plenty of people can actually play the online fine without the problems you just mentioned.

The Online is still a beta, so i'm sure it will all be fixed.

I played it twice. My computer couldn't handle it. It started to lag like crazy. It's just my computer though. I have a dinosaur.

Well, its hard to tell if somebody is in your lobby and it is pretty laggy some times.

I am getting a "Could not connect to game server" error every time I try. Any way to fix it, and is it my internet or the server itself?

You either have an old patch, no internet, or the server is down. It looks to be up for me, though.

I just had my first match online! (A blackmage spammer but thats neither here or there) The connection was nearly flawless with one tiny spike of lag at one point! Only problem is its a bit of a hassle to login after you leave a room. (or after the opponent's inevitable rq as a result of my wrecking their spam tactic *cough* *cough*) When logging in, either I receive a connection timeout message or it says "Your account is already logged in elsewhere, please wait 5 minutes while we disconnect idle users" or something along those lines. Though when that doesn't happen I'm finally able to find a room with no problems that I've heard from other players (theoretically since I only had one match so far)
