Sort of this, but I may end up buying the 3DS version later even if they're the same. I get a lot more mileage out of portable fighters than I do console ones.

I really hope the versus mode content is the same across both games though. I'd hate to have a craving to play as [3DS only character] while I'm on the WiiU version. It'd feel like a slap in the face really

Have you checked to see if it's answered in the FAQ?

Either way, I'd be getting the 3DS regardless because I have no idea how I'm going to pay for a WiiU. However if I do miraculously get one, it'll probably be at the point where I can just look up the version differences and decide for myself.

Yeah. The rumor was 100% fake, but yes supposedly it was the 3DS one that they were going to give a retro motif too.

I Was thinking that it would be cool if the original N64 SSB was on the EShop as a 3D Classic, speaking of retro.

They've announced that both versions will have the same characters in them. So I wouldn't get your hopes up on version exclusives.

if I had both systems I would buy both almost for sure, just because the 3DS one is portable and the Wii U is on a big screen, lets you play in the same room as people, etc.

I really want to see him but since he's from Square Enix the chances are decreased..

Story mode should be there like all the previous Smash games..

I would like him to be in too and I remember hearing that Miracle Mask was his second last game
