to expand on my previous entry, i tend to fastfall when i attempt to dair. i also have a absolutely terrible time getting my opponent to die even when they are at 190%. I also attempt to edgegaurd characters who are not safe to edgegaurd or will just return to the platforms guaranteed, EG. link, pikachu, and zelda. i also will SDI every hit of a multip hit move that you cant escape, eg peaches downsmash.

I keep firmly believing that playing with a controller will give me seamless analogue movement, no matter how much proof I have to the contrary.

Something weird about myself; I play better when I don't try to win. Lmao, I will never understand that.

If you adjust your controls, you can replicate it pretty close to feeling like actually analogue movement (Xpadder could do this well).

I know, but that's the problem. It feels almost like analogue movement, so I keep expecting to gently press the stick in a direction and attack at the same time to get a tilt attack, but I instead start a smash attack and send the opponent out of range of my expected follow up. It's also not breaking in that I can't angle most characters' forward tilts/smashes to have just a slightly different knockback trajectory.
Then there's me trying to lightly tilt backwards to turn around to do jab hits, which I'll never adapt to no matter what (because everyone needs to be pessimistic, sometimes).

In the end, I'll just let Sad Shulk sum up my thoughts in a single amusing reaction image.
