Hey so I got a version of the Dspec to ledgegrab meteor to work. I ran off and Dspec while holding back towards the ledge. I saved the replay, but not quite sure how to make a gif out of it.

Not really. The thing is because you can escape the move before Ichigo brings his blade down. I tested this before about getting out of the move is not very hard.

I just tried it out, and it doesn't. You may be referring to the old Ichigo's down b, because the most recent down b doesn't allow you to escape.

How do u jump out of the way of a vertical attack with decent horizontal reach.

Honestly the move should just work like Yoshi's and Bowser's down Bs.

The stun is kinda stupid tbh, spidr told me the only way to escape ichigos down b is to take the 2-3 hits(because most ichigos spam it on succession) and u should escape from knockback by then.

Huh never mind. They just keep changing things.

Also I doubt that a Ichigo player would just go up and do it.

However, I think you guys should be able to get out of range. It looks like you can smash D.I. out of the move, but you most likely won't get far, not even if you try to Smash D.I. behind him.

From what it looks like, you need to be 2 steps in front of him for the stun to work.

Just take the 2-3 hits if you a floaty charecter you only stand 1, the 2-3 hits gives you 18% which isnt THAT much speaking of ichigo's down b it has lots of properties his down throw has
- Down b can lead into Nair, Uair, Utilt, etc
- It can meteor like his down throw, it takes around 70+ percent for it to kill meteor but on fast fallers shouldn't take too long

Ichigo has a few 0 to death combos
- Side b to down throw
- side b to fair to downb to down throw(has to be done over ledge if opponent jumps in catch him him with a grab and dthrow him to death)
