can you make a rule saying not to make a topic if you have nothing to contribute to it
just asking since I'm sick of seeing topics where it's just the title and the OP saying TALK ABOUT THIS
instead of actually saying anything about it themselves or even putting forward something to talk about

I don't really have complaints with the "TALK ABOUT THIS" topics, to be honest.
in the SSF2 section most of the topics are "TALK ABOUT THIS" topics

The SSF2 section is a special case. You can't make new topics there.

28.) If you make a topic, you are expected to participate in its conversation. You don't have to post in there every day, but don't expect to get away with posting a topic just to completely abandon it the next day.
