There're shadows, etc.

Currently Playing: Street Fighter 5 Fighter ID: NDT_Mighty. PM me to fight.
Things that I've spotted that aren't so obvious:
Characters have shadows casting on the ground(and air at the moment >.>).
Character intros zoom in on each separately.
Camera is a bit smoother, moves quicker and zooms on the characters more depending on how far away they are.

I will spot an obvious one:

Tails has a new voice set.

Forgot to mention this earlier, but to the dev who was in charge of making Yoshi's Island not s***: Thank you so much. That stage was so damn unprofessional in 0.8; it looks much more interesting now. Nice work.

At least 3 different alt colors? How did you guys figure out how to do it without exploding the file size? Also great job, so much hype.

I sent a PM to Cleod9 not that long ago (like not even a week) about how god awful the AI was. Most were suicidal and generally it was overdone when it came to stuff like edge grabbing. Mario and Pikachu would spam that CPU that wouldn't jump to 999% damage kind of awful AI.

I have a feeling he post this targeting at me. :P

It is nice to know he wasn't all talk when he said it will be improved on 0.9 though realistically two characters in a short video isn't simply enough to judge the AI on characters like Mega Man that is kinda more gimmicky. Hopefully anything he may miss will be fix on 0.9b.

He did mention that he had a difficult time against a single level 9 CPU in v.0.9, or something like that, IIRC.

We've been planning this for a while: much longer than a week. Also, the AI is great in general, though I guess you'll just have to take my word for it.

You know, the HUD somehow reminds me of Crusade's HUD, (not that they are the same, though) hope the fanboys don't argue with that.

recolors (even though you said there probably wouldn't be)
combos
new stage designs
even more flashy effects
damage counter redesign
the things that show a character when they go off screen have been redesigned as well
overall awesomeness

I commend you devs for doing the impossible!

And you are still missing stuff in the video~

what is there to miss other than the review of 0.9 progress or what was in the video?

The new HUD. Which I was probably the only person that thought that was the coolest part.

Don't worry, I shall see it for myself soon enough, only a few more months right? It would be quite impressive if Ness can ever do his recovery right by itself. That would be the first thing I would test out. I sent him like a giant list of generally bad flaws with the current version and he said his new AI system would fix 90% of it so I will most likely just go down the list.
