Exactly. Why Would They Have 2 character selects, the Mii Fighter Option From The Menu you most likely allow you to access your mii's and equip their movesets, which; once done, a icon for the respective mii type will appear on the character select screen

Well then if you customize your mii, then it should only be 1 character icon not 3, since you've already chosen what class and moves it shouldn't have all 3 taking up a slot, just the one you chose.

They could make it so the Mii Fighters replace the random button when customization is turned on, and to select a specific Mii you put your name, like the custom controls in Brawl

they could also make it so the game doesn't have a character select screen at all and uses the 3DS camera to read your facial expression and see what character you want to use

Actually I would think it would be like Pokemon Trainer, or Zelda/Sheik as in you can click on the Mii's pictures when selected to choose which one you will play as.

What's the problem with having three different icons for the different classes, again? Seeing as they're completely different move sets and only tied together by being Miis.

Because when you play as your mii, you've already chosen what class and moves you want, so having the other classes you didn't chose take up a "slot" shoot me wouldn't make much sense.

But if you want to play as a gunner, why select a generic Mii icon and then use a submenu to select gunner when you could already just have a preloaded Mii gunner in a dedicated icon

That could work as well, and I'd actually hope they could do that because if I do wanna switch from gunner to brawler for a bit that'd make it so you don't have to keep going back and re-customizing constantly.

ok, this is a more complete select than the one I saw erlier, I feel like this is more complete, and because this was taken off camera, I find it more believable. BUT AGAIN, I WILL TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.

The Only Issue I Have With This Picture..... Where are the icon's for selecting the Mii's? But only time will tell at the japanese release what the actual final roster is. But Here I Go Again With Listing the Characters For the Sake of "Who's Hidden Behind The Counter.
