i just saw something on comedy central and it says that time warner cable customers and some other cable company are going to cancel tons of channels like nickelodian (i dont care about that), comedy central, mtv, spike, and a couple other popular channels. do you think they really will do that?

Its probably just some New Year's Eve Scam. They'll probably release some world premieres at the end of the day.

As much as i hate all but one of those (Comedy central is good for a quick laugh at times) they rake in waaay too much money to possibly even consider axeing.

Actually, my brother's been watching the news, and he says the reason is that Viacom wants more money from Time Warner, but Time Warner won't give it to them.

Other than Comedy Central, I couldn't care less if any of those channels got removed. And even then, I don't watch Comedy Central much, soo...

TV would be better off without Nickelodian and MTV anyway.

Its not a scam but it also might not be true. If any of you read it correctly, it said anyone with Turner Broadcasting cable or Bright-something networks. If you don't have those cable companies then you have no worries.

Anyways, it was going to happen for money issues, because Viacom is greedy as crap. Now, however, they seem to have come to a possible agreement. All the channels belonged to Viacom, by the way. Hopefully this will mean that all the channels are staying where they are.
