I love how smooth Link is now. Especially in turbo mode

From the matches i've played as Link, i feel that this could be his best incarnation yet.

-His somewhat floaty now, it's like playing with Toon Link's floatyness but with Link's power.
-Boomerang is (and still was) pretty fast to come out, but it's even better than 0.9a, it seems as if the gust damage is now intentional
-Floating Spin attack (Up special) no longer works
-Spin attack is now a great Out Of Shield tactic Imo. Great knock back after 30% combined with fast startup and a realatively short spinning time allows you to space yourself easily (unless your opponent shields it then, well that's an easy punish)
-Up Smash is terribly weak, still usable and combo's into some moves.(I dunno if this is a Nerf considering it can lead into a good aerial attack like U-air, or N'air)
-Dtilt is even better with slightly more vertical range (or maybe that's just me)
-Stilt comes out alot slower that it used to. (the only Nerf to Link?)
-Arrows are even more viable than they used to be
-BOOOOMBS!
-Bombs break through shields. (Especially yours.)
-Arrow Bombs don't break through shields.
-Recovering spin attack's ending hit is a viable finisher at 90%+

-EDIT Link's Grab feels a tiny bit slower but still really good.
-EDIT Spin Attack is a great finisher itself, but it really does scale downwards as the attack finishes contrary to the recovering version.
-EDIT Jab combo is really fast for Link,

Daaaayuuum Link.

Link's obviously had some great buffs to his character. Kudos to the developers for doing so. ;)
Now, I've been playing Link and I can say his fluid attacks are much better than any of those I've seen on a character; I've tried Marth, Zelda, Zero Suit Samus, Mario and the others, but they just aren't as fluid as Link. Link's received some rather gifted buffs and the related, but I feel his Z-air is coming too fast, but that may still be a good thing as Link can grab the edge faster and hit opponents faster, making it a better combo tool. His spin attack having semi-spike properties is really amazing given the fact it has to charge.

Anyways, with Link's new buffs and what-not, he seems to be a mid to high tier viable character now. Also, dat recovery is one hell of a recovery.

I love his boomerang. I jump in the air after it returning, and it sends him off into the space. It then can run him/her off the screen koing them. This can work when they are knocked, and unable to recover. If you attack him/her off the screen at that time near the end, it is nearly guaranteed that you get a kill. Unfortunately, it is hard to get a kill that way, as most have good enough recovery to survive, but if you are lucky, they will get screen KO'D.

Does Link's Bob-omb Arrows still work for him, or have they been cut from the game?

I honestly wonder why link is a heavy character, i mean he isn't large in size nor does he have alot of weight to his outfit (Besides his sword and shield)

These new physics along with Link's seemingly faster falling speed make bomb-jumping much harder; especially offstage bomb-jumping.

Link is incredible this demo. He sits on platforms and camps, throws boomerangs to knock them towards him, launches devestating combos. I do believe he could a zero-to-death combo...

He's weighed down by all those items.

His attacks feel much more fluid and effective, and his recovery improved.

Also, the Gale Boomerang is amazing now.

I AGREE with that one. He is very powerful with the gale boomerang and the hero's bow.

Bomb jumps didn't even exist last demo, did they?

You could. If you air Z-drop, the bomb would appear right above Link. So he can always hit himself with a bomb. He can still do this.

Upward throw Bomb-jump he can really only be done if he uses a mid-air jump before Spin-Attack. Without a mid-air jump, it's extremely difficult. I've done it before, but I can't figure how to do it consistently. Throwing the bomb up and then doing Spin-Attack on the earliest possible frame doesn't reach the bomb in time.
