Wow! you got me on that one, I didn't know Pokémon was a combat sport, is it practiced anywhere in th world? not really, as Pokémon is an RPG, where you command non-human monsters, yes they indeed combat, but there is also an array of other stuff like contests, breeding, etc. As such Pokémon has a lot more variety than Punch Out!!, so isn't that enough to be acceptable?

Sonic appeared in both Sonic the Fighters and Sonic Battle, what the hell was he doing in Smash Bros. (and with MOVES from those games, oh! the humanity!)

Punch-out is a game w/fighting but it is not a (Arena/Combat/Videogamegenreoffighting) Fighting Game, nor is it a fighting w/game or a game that fights
if we allow games w/fighting why don't we allow games that fight? playing as a video game would be fun

normally fighting isn't the problem, it's more like questioning if the characters would be able to show their uniqueness. little mac is a small boxer, that seems to be just about all you have going for him.

I do want Little Mac, yeah.
Punch-Out is one of my favourite NES games and it'd be great to see it represented in SSB with more than just an assist trophy.
You got a problem with that?
