Jobs Fair Mafia
The premise is simple. The local college is holding a jobs fair with many booths representing all sorts of career opportunities, from Sushi Chef to Space Marine. However, some sectors are… shall we say, a little bit desperate for new recruits. They’ve formed a pact with each other and agreed to eliminate all the other visiting companies in the hopes that they will attract more students for lack of competition.

Here is how things are going to work:

1. When players sign up for the game, they will PM me a job title. This can range from the mundane to the insane, anything goes. Garbage collector, aquatic mammal toothbrush inspector, professional paint brush predator, whatever. Let your imagination run wild.

2. After a certain number of people have signed up (I’m thinking between 10 and 13), I will randomly distribute one of the submitted job titles to each player. They will each have three days to invent a role to go along with their given title and and send it back to me. (I will use my discretion to rebalance under or overpowered roles, and may consult with the creator if time permits.) Again, imaginative roles are strongly encouraged. If the role you have in mind requires something unique, like a tie to another player, ask me about it. We might be able to make it work. Do note that players will NOT be assigning alignments to their creations.

3. After I have received the newly created roles, each job description will be sent back to the person that originally requested the title. Players will receive their alignments in the same message.

I mean like the cut off for a certain amount of votes is a bad idea in itself. Not saying him or anyone would, but he could just rally to... erm, "quick hammer" the vote count to 12 by getting randoms to vote. It should just go on until there's a clear winner and the polls stopped fluctuating. There's no real rush, plus we need a rest after the last mafia anyway haha.

I hadn't cast my vote yet. Also, can't we have a mod look afterwards, to see if nonmafia players voted. (Not that it should matter). And if it does matter, just strike those votes?

We def do not have 23 players.

There is some stuff going on, I think. I *might* hold my game until two games later, but I'll think about it.

Perhaps we could have a public vote? It seems to me that those who are actually going to play should have a greater say over what the next game is like than those who are spectators only.

If the people who said they're going to play actually played, it would eliminate 90% of our problems in this section.

That said though, the poll is interesting. Lucina has pulled ahead of everyone but 194.
