Tara had attempted sleep, the Book she had found perched upon the nightstand. She had chosen to read up after a good nights sleep but hadn't anticipated its interaction with her subconscious mind. Throughout her slumber she tossed and turned upon the sheets of her rented bed. strewning the blankets about with her unsettled movements. Sweat glistened off of her forehead, her eyes tightly clenched.

In her sleep she had a vision, a persistent array of imagery that never ceased. A deep chamber within a nearby cavern.. The hard rock that made up the chambers walls had several cracks and openings within it, where deep green roots emerged and spread their vines along the interior, giving it a distinct look of wild nature. This room was lit by four torches that never withered with their flame; set upon pylons set in a square formation within the middle of the area. They surrounded a sleek stone platform with an altar, wrought of moss-spattered oak, upon it. The alter unto itself had a small platform upon it, where one might place an object. To the back of this platform, the altars most distinct feature. An idol of brass, old and worn, forged in the image of a deity Tara herself did not know of. The idol overlooked the platform, as if an eternal witness unto it.

In front of this arrangement was a blue-tinted seal upon the rough rocky floor. The large symbol, was encased in a stout marble ring, it didn't go but an inch off the ground. So it didn't appear as if it was meant to keep anything out or in but rather divide the area of the seal it encased from ground surrounding it; for the small area the symbol lied upon was smooth and looked as if it were untouched. The entrance to this sacred place within this cavern appeared to be a narrow passage. Hieroglyphs lined smooth stone walls in this passage, which in itself, lead into the muck that was the cave and its natural look. The cave in its entirety wasn't all too big, rather small actually. The imagery within her mind would pull out of the caves entrance, displaying its location.

This cavern was not at the side of some large mountain, but rather hidden among the flora of elevated ground. This elevated portion of soil lay shrouded in deep grass, and melded quite well with the slanted direction of the general area. The scattered amount of tree's also worked to conceal it. This entrance, apparently only when one would pull away vines and cut at grass standing right in front of it was a quite an opening when unveiled. Whomever had made this small cave a home to a ritualistic area, had chosen its location well indeed.

Just as the imagery pulled out to unveil this general area has been but a quarter mile into the forest behind the Inn, Tara would awaken. Sitting up straight in the bed with a swift motion, black hair messily hanging in front of her face..pulling her gaze towards the book, the momentum of this movement swinging a little of the hair away from her eyes, which peered upon this ancient text with a new sense of knowledge. Tara slid from off the side of her mattress, quickly grasping at this book and holding it to her chest as if now, it were something extremely valuable or sacred.

She burst from the door of her room and into the hallway, the dawns orange light giving a hazy glow into the coordinator; Illuminating Tekun up against his door. Stamping over by him and nudging him with her foot. "Tekun!" She groggily stated at him, the force behind her "nudges" almost that of a kick. She was quite wound up.

"Tekun.. This book.. it showed me a place.. a spiritual chamber to which it can resurrect the dead!" Tara continued, voice heightened. The book clung against her with both arms.

"Tekun!"

Tekun got up after the nudge to find it was only Tara. She scarred him half to death. He took a deep breath after his slight flail.

"Tekun.. This book.. it showed me a place.. a spiritual chamber to which it can resurrect the dead!"

Tekun's jaw dropped. It meant the stories were true. He couldn't believe it. He was about ready to hug Tara but controlled himself. He remembered the old stories. A sacred location, remains, a personal item, and blood.

"Let's go." He said as he headed out the door.

Rana squinted at Tana. He hadn't slept. He tilted his head... If the book was a resurrection spell... It would mean he could bring Tania back. But it couldn't be as simple as that... No, no magic like that was simple. He had sat by Windy the entire night, and he patted her neck as he stood. His legs were stiff but he could walk. And he needed to see if Tania could truly be brought back... He wanted to apologize.

In his sleep, Gabriel had contorted himself so that his arm was pointed up and his back was curled so his feet touched his head. Images of whatever he fancied danced in his head as he slept. As soon as light hit his body he awakened.
"We're hungry, Gabriel." Lucifer was playing with Gabriel's hair.
"I know. Let's go find berries, or fruit." He smiled. He was out of the ugly town and he had new companions to travel with. He grinned.
Gabriel stood and walked away from the inn, but after several hours he turned back. There hadn't been a single edible plant. All he could think of was the giant bird... So pretty, so meaty. So much delicious food...

OOC: He has a taste for the fowl... Hehehe... HAHAHAHA *Forced laughter*

OOC: 100 pages...well...let's see how far this goes. Maybe if it ends up well enough, it can break my record : D

Serene sat up on her bed, looking out the window. She couldn't shake the events from the day from her head. How come she was able to escape from the dragon's mouth alive. It didn't seem possible. She slapped herself. "How can I be thinking of such thoughts! I'm lucky I'm still alive..." she paused after that, taking time to contemplate. "...or am I?"

J woke himself up and stared at the trees above him. "Ah nature, surely the greatest wonder of this world." he said aloud "And I'm sure glad I grew up learning to live in it's wild glory!" a loud chuckle arose from his area. Turning his head, he looked for the kid who asked him to bring the group to the next town. Of course, J knew deep down that he barely knew where the next town was, but he shrugged that thought off with the simple idea spouted many times by his mind: "We'll find it eventually.", and he sat up and tied his bandana around his shaggy mullet.

As Tara lead, Tekun followed, he then turned around to notice that Rana was indeed following them, for what, he didn't know. He then remembered his ability in the dark arts, his relationship with Tania. Had he over heard them. Whatever the case, he was coming along anyway.

"So where is this place anyway?" he asked Tara.

Tara paced along behind the inn, followed in tow by Tekun. She seemed to almost ignore his words, eyes scanning over every facet of the terrain, finding remembrance within it.

"Not too far.." She'd reply with a simple statement. Pushing in through the brush of bushes and low hanging tree branches. their travel taking an upward pace coming atop a hill overlooking a sea of deep rising grass. Yes indeed, this was the place. The lime-green of the small meadow, the burly stature of what scattered amount of tree's took haven here. Tara ran on down and into the chest-high flora, book grasped against herself. "Just a little more.."

The book pulsed with power as they approached their destination that was not even ten minutes away from the inn convienently enough. Up ahead a cave, and in it, the remains of a sacred altar once used for an obscure ritual by an unknown group. It was clear the place was significant, at one point. The book pulsed more so then ever, energy could be felt by Rana, Tara and even Tekun. Tekun walked up to the altar. Remebering the tales.

"This.....must be it." Tekun said hesitently and pulled out the strand of hair and put it on the altar and then he pulled out another item, something he had taken from the pegasus in secret and placed it on the table. "Blood." He said hesitently. he pulled out his blade. Wondering if it was only blood that was needed, not a life. He took the blade and slashed at his arm, Blood spewed onto the altar and flowed down his arm. Letting it drip and stream onto it. He held his arm, letting it flow free, closing his right eye in pain. He looked at Rana and then Tara and walked away a distance.

Rana was confused at Tekun's sudden action, but did nothing. He came closer, exhausted from the walk. He stood near Tara, swaying back and forth... He suddenly felt as if something was pulling on his chest. He let it, and the shadows around him strengthened and flowed outwards. It was like something was sucking the void from him. He held himself back and the cave brightened, if only a little. He turned to Tara. She might have known what to do.

OoC: DH.. why is Tekun now in the corner listening to linkin park and putting streaks in his hair?..

The visions.. the constant night-long pressure upon her subconscious, had done more than simply etch within her mind the path she must take. Though the aura pulled at her very soul in this sacred place, she somehow felt a peaceful familiarity with it. Stepping on over in front of the altar, book in hand, she knew just why Tekun had cut himself over the altar. This was all as it needed to be. Opening up the text and pulling it in front of her, the book by itself, flipping through the pages which were now mysteriously all blank. Opening up to a particular segment, Writing began to present itself along the old paper. This writing, though foreign to Tara, was somehow something she understood. No doubt the spiritual stream this book flowed with, guiding her through the rituals routine.

She read the scriptures aloud, the words resonating with the area around them. The symbol on the ground in front of the alter beginning to glow a faint blue. A misty churn of energy swirling around it. The ritual, was indeed starting off. With each verse she spoke, the aura surrounding this area strengthened. Tara simply read what made itself outlined in front of her, letting the majestic power guide her. Feeling her own energy become sucked away, truly it was garnering power to complete itself. This could maybe even be dangerous for her, being the one committing the ancient ritual. But this, had little thought in her mind.

Ooc: Its only a phase.

Tekun stood there as the ritual was recited, the tome glew with an immense power as something began to occur as various things started to glow and magic flowed. Then there was a loud crash. The magic being gathered manifested it self in a visible form, almost a gas. The room began to shake about through the ritual and then there was a flash of blinding light, and all was as it had been. But there was someone lying on the altar, no clothing, on her body a scar where a dragon's fang had clamped down. Tekun rushed to her, taking his cloak off and throwing it over her.

"Tania!" was the only word he could shout at that moment.

Tania looked around in shock as if in mid conversation, she blinked not quite comprehending where she was. She realized that she was only wearing a cloak that Tekun had quickly thrown onto her. She then realized that it was Tekun, her dear beloved Tekun who she had mentioned to her mother while in the land of the dead, its mysteries fading from her mind like a dream. Her eyes glistened with fresh tears she was speechless, Tara and Rana were also in the room as well, it wasn't an illusion she had returned to the realm of the living. Her tears spilled from her eyes and down her cheeks, "Oh Tekun" she said while hugging him tightly "I never thought we'd meet again" she sobbed, the damp cave smelled fresh of magic, they had done some sort of ritual to bring her back from the dead she concluded. She looked up at all of them her eyes still glistening "I-I don't know how I could ever manage to repay you" she said tearfully "No money in the world could grant me this chance that you all have offered me" She wished she had her handkerchief on her, she noticed that Tekun's arm was bleeding slightly, she ripped a part of the cloak she was given, and tied it around the boy's arm. "So if your blood brought me back to life, does that make us closer family than before?" she asked with a smile.

OOC: ZOMG Tania!!

Tears streamed down Tekun's face as he hugged her tightly as he closed his eyes. He was crying, he couldn't believe she was back, but here she was. A miracle, despite how dark such tomes were.

"Call it....a ...group effort." He said trying to hold back the tears. "Welcome back."

Rana gaped at Tania. He wrung his shaking hands as he approached, his eyes darting around the cavern nervously. His face softened and he smiled, but when he reached the altar he couldn't say a word. He opened his mouth, then closed it as his eyes teared up. "Tania..." He whispered, "I'm sorry."

Gabriel sat down on a rock, admiring the view around him. His walk had tired him out, but he was excited that he had decided to eat the giant bird. Nobody would mind, as the mean girl had been eaten... He grinned widely and chuckled. He toyed with one of his knives in anticipation of the feast to come.

Lex smiled and cocked his head to one side. "A minotaur? Here? Interesting... I wonder for whom it could be searching, eh Leon..?" He slyly glanced in his direction. "No matter, how's about we slip away, unseen? Although, I'm not sure this clunky mess of flab can do much of that." He poked Leon's chest and sighed. "Would you mind losing a bit of weight right quick?" He did a tiny jogging motion and laughed to himself, though immediately setting himself down, afterward in a crouching position. He let himself sway back and forth with the wind, keeping the energy he would have otherwise lost keeping himself rigid. He hummed quietly.

Alice slowly woke up, moving across the gradient between dream and reality so smoothly, she couldn't tell if she was still asleep or not, and the first thing she noticed was Julius, which gave her the sure feeling she was awake now. She was trying to urge herself to start a conversation, but to no avail since no topic could be brought up, and began looking around some more. Someone was missing.. but she couldn't quite recall..
