Metal Mario feels a bit dissappointing as a character to me. I really hope we get more interesting racers then Lakitu and Metal Mario.

I think those characters are very interesting. Sorry, but that is just my opinion. Lakitu has been in every game so far, just not playable, but now he's here, he's playable, SO DEAL WIT IT!!!!
And also, the Fire Flower is a new item, it allows you to throw fire balls in front or behind you, unlimited balls until the time runs out, like the gold shroom. Now I'm hopin' to see the Ice Flower...

I recently got Super Mario Land 2, finally I can finish that game without worrying about my file being lost after played on a PC emulator.
