If you beat asterisks user you get their job class, some enemies have rare drops but for most of the OP stuff you'll have to level up certain village shop to access "rare" type of weapons and special abilities.

Did any one beat this game and want to discuss how f*** confusing and ambiguous the ending was? Not just the ending, but there seemed to be plot holes along the way.... first 4 chapters = 10/10, enjoyed every second. Last 4 chapters = 3/10, disgusting.

Good thing is though, i wouldn't exactly call the last 4 chapters 'the latter half' of the game, as a lot of people call it. (I mean I get it, because it's 8 chapters total, and 4 chapters being the latter, but-) the first 4 took way longer then the last 4. The first 4 probably took me 80 hours, and the last 4 30 hours. Estimating, but still.

I also played through the game on hard difficulty, but during those last 4, it was not worth my time to fight the same bosses over and over again, changed it to normal just to get through it.

I spent a lot of time reading the dialogues of past scene and reading D's journal over and over again. In fact, the first thing I did when I started the game was reading the whole journal (And thought Edea was a monster because of that last page lmfao). So nothing was confusing for me except for Yulyana and DeRosso's story, that exploded my brain. Then everything made sense with the final boss.

The only thing that raised my eyebrow higher than Jordan could jump in space jam was the end of the credit with Tiz and that ball of light and this is why I want Bravely Second sooo damn badly but we're not getting it until 2016.

I read all of Ds journal early on too, and it made the story really interesting.

But I was talking about the ending that you mentioned, and the celestial being that is inside Tiz (that i'm guessing is the player?)

But also...well i talked about it on reddit, so i'm just gonna copy and paste what I wrote.

So i'm finally at the last chapter. Airy has revealed her true colors, and everyone is surprised. Why are they surprised again? To my knowledge, Edea is the only one who didn't know. Ringabel's memory returned so he knew, and he told Tiz, who then told Agnes.
And that's the other thing, they all knew this, but they still went to awaken the crystals, 2 more times, and then when it brought about destruction they were all surprised???? I don't understand.

It's also kind of annoying that the conflict between the duchy and Agnes, Tiz and the others could have been avoided with proper communication. -_-

I'm not really complaining though, I enjoyed the game very much over all....besides those last 4 chapters...it really wasn't as bad as people made it out to be though.

It's a f*** anime game m8 why would you not expect ~TERRIBLE MISUNDERSTANDINGS~ to not be a part of the plot

Well they wanted to kill the one behind everything so they had to continue as if nothing happened. That's what I thought.

And yea the part where the dutchy came in our way was dumb, I mean Edea almost killed her father because I don't know. Then again, the last half were different worlds and different stuff happened that led to different situations happening.
