Yep. He was a bit too slow in the previous revisions. And especially in brawl. his fair has really low landing lag it's crazy. Ike is probably going to be my new secondary. _________________

ike is seriously OP in brawl compared to smash 4
one time my friend got a fully charged fsmash on me and i almost died instantly :/

okay yeah wrong use of words but you guys are making it sound like as if he was below average before the buffs and its confusing me because a good ike can destroy literally anyone

The same good be said for any character. Especially considering how f*** strong his attacks are, but with any character the flaws balance them. A good mario can destroy literally anyone too, so long as he hits his Fairs off stage (which isnt easy). The problem with Ike before was the lag in his moves, if he didn't hit them he was too easy to punish. They reduced (i think) all of his aerials landing lag. His sideb also has less lag so it can be followed up by a fair or whatever you choose to go for.

took me a few times to understand this, i was like "n-no, aether sends you straight down..." he was below average. he did need the buffs. i'm hella good with Robin but Robin is still a pretty meh character
