But back on point- I guess it all depends on whatever direction you want to go in- I'm getting the idea you want to go more into stylised cartoons, so there is less of a rush for ankles and wrists (just use gloves). Still, learning the bascis of anatomy is a good start for drawing in general.

Honestly, this is the HUGEST problem I'm having right now.
I want to learn anatomy to make awesome anime artwork, but I LOVE the Adventure Time style and I want to draw more in that style.
The only problem is, if I get too attatched to one, I'll be horrible at the other for a long time.

No, if you can draw you can draw.

Learn the basics of anatomy then you will know how to stylise it, that goes for all styles adventure time included. You're thinking it's either one or the other but that's not neccesarily true.

Yet most of the time I either stay away from drawing or stay away from a certain style, I seem to just be terrible at it until I get used to it in a week or so.

With my basic knowledge of the subject the best I can give you right now is too keep practising and to keep expierencing with multiple styles and tools. If you focus to much on one aspect you may lose track of another, try to keep the complete picture in sight.

Just a few Adventure Time Sketches, I might turn some into full coloured and shaded pieces, but eh.
