what's the point of writing those notes if you're just going to list the album's genres and add a few meaningless adjectives here and there?

fair enough.
it's just that you have pretty good taste and i think it would be interesting to hear your take on those albums beyond "this was a cool post-rock lp by a band i like" whatever works for ya though _________________

I was doing full-sized reviews at the beginning of the year, but then I realized how much time it took.

 Box of Antimatter, by Lapse. It's the only album I've listened to, from this year, and it's really good. I'm not really sure what it is, though. It's very electronic. |

Just got done listening to Aura by Saor and it is definitely my AOTY so far. I've never bothered keeping up with metal, but I'm trying to this year and loving most of what I'm hearing. Wasn't too big on the new Every Time I Die album, though. Anybody else care to share their current AOTY? _________________ |

That new Deadmau5 album has been getting pretty good reception, I'll have to check it out.
Need to listen to that new Agalloch, too.
