I hate when I go to a forum and it's all "HEY REMEMBER THIS FROM PAST REINCARNATIONS OF THE BOARD" in a welcome topic and another person's like "HAHA, YEAH!" and then I'm like "what are you talking about someone fill me in ;_;"

I wouldn't say the forum is WEIRD - it just sounds like the community is very introverted [er, focused on itself, idk if introverted is the right word], and motivated to thrive based on its own community drama...how'd you guys say it? This forum is like crack - well, forums are like that when it's a very tight-knit community which is what I see here. Keeping up with the forum life is like keeping up with a soap opera, apparently...or so I've noticed with some forum communities.

psst about my earlier question:
Is SSF2 going to be played on a person's computer, like they save it to a folder, unpack an archive and plug away at keys, or do they go to a site and play it, where they go to a URL and then plug away at keys? I recall Cleod posting about the game to be eventually posted on Wiicade, so I would think it's the latter one.

Judging from the credit tags at the bottom of the forum, I'm guessing this isn't hosted on McLeod's site. If a hacker actually came by, wouldn't he be in trouble with the DivisionCore Network [who hosts a number of free hosting services...which being they're a business and all, could possibly follow up with legal action]?
