Nice bump. Anyways what brought me here to MG was (like 90% of the other users) ssf1. I played it on notdoppler, looked at the FaQ, figured out that there was a sequel and site for it, and then joined. Nothing special. When I first joined though, I was terrible. My sentence structure was (and still is a little) off and I was just plain childish. Sometimes I look back at my old post and go "what the f*** was I typing?"

Sorry. I've got to remember to check the date on the previous post.

I got brought to MG because of 1 thing. To kill my boredom, and here I am, a few years later, still killing that boredom.

I "played" SSF1 on Newgrounds-wasn't much of a game because of terrible balancing--, and Cleod had left a link to the forums in the author's notes; I cast a wayward glance to the index and saw there was a roleplaying section. I immediately registered and brought shame to my ancestors, contributing to the wince-inducing contents therein. Just kind of drifted after that, mustering about as much negative behavior as possible for a prepubescent child; being harassed by the resident fora vets, too, who I religiously sought the e-respect of at the time. Ridiculous.
Can't say I envy that era, nor the kinds of changes-or lack of change-- my peers came to embrace, but life does go on.

He's wrong in three ways, but I know his error.
1. He apparently believes SSF and SSB are the same thing, or at least believes they're on the same title title. Seeing as he himself apparently never directly stated he played SSBM, he may have gotten confused with the similar layouts. 2. He called SSBM "SSF" 3. SSBM wasn't the first, but he's calling it the first (And I'm not surprised; many people think Melee's the first.)
Well, could be any of the three or all three.

Okay, I know this is a joke, but I'm gonna have to say it anyway; It's not quite the same concept. It isn't that they are ignorant of the series as a whole, it's that not many people played the N64 one either due to its age or due to the fact not many people seemed to have it compared to the N64 (I've met more people with a GC/Wii than an N64).

I was brought here by SSF1 on Andkon Arcade, which brought me to SSF2, which brought me to read the forums, which brought me to realize I need to make an account to join in on the shouting party.
