Those are the changes I found for Bomberman so far on the stream:
+ Bombs can now be used as projectiles besides bomb planting;
+ Dash attack is bigger, faster and stronger too;
+ F-smash has less startup lag
+ Bombs can now be angled in more directions besides up, forward and down.
-Grab miss animation is longer;
o B-throw has diagonal knockback, rather than horizontal.

That's all I could found. Things can change, but it's good to notice those changes.

After re-watching the stream twice 2 weeks ago, I realized how much Reflectors can destroy his main tactic: Bombs

Apparently, the ownership is still the reflector's even after the Bomb lands, one guy tried using Bomb Kick but since it's "not HIS Bomb" anymore, he kept getting hit the moment Bomb Kick hits the Bomb!

So a simple suggestion/s I have:

>Bomb ownership returns to the Bomberman who placed the Bomb after the Bomb returns stationary
>Bomb cannot be affected by Reflectors while stationary

I think those would really help Bomberman so Reflectors do not absolutely shut him down...

A few other changes I have for his N-Spec:

+BBM gains light armor while charging the Bomb
+Going from Small to Medium Bombs takes shorter
-Bombs has less Explosion Radii
-Bombs deal less Damage "impact damage" while moving
-Going from Medium to P-Bombs takes longer
>>>Note that it still takes the same time to go from 0 - P-Bomb

That sounds like a pretty good arrangement to me. It's funny how bigger the hitbox of the P-Bomb is than the effect it shows. And I really like :bomberman: myself.

Since I'm really bored, this thread died, BBM is my secondary, and I can't access YouTube because of my *bleep*ty-*bleep* net provider:

I'm fine with Bombs acting as projectiles
I'm fine with an explosion radius nerf
I'm fine with kicked/thrown Bombs being able to be reflected

But when the actual Bomb changes ownership, even after landing... boi you triggered meh!

Maybe make it similar to the TF2 Sticky Bombs, where it can be reflected, but the original Demo is still the "owner", thus the opponents could get damaged if the explosives are detonated

Also, I think that the "flying bombs" (my nickname for the thrown and/or kicked bombs which have active hitboxes) should be slightly toned down in damage

you probably are. there isn't enough people who play ther character or are interested I'm labbing him to make a discord for him. if you want you can start one yourself and try to get it on smashcords

There is already one actually (not gonna post the link here because :pikachu: ). It was denied from SC due to inactivity, a lack of rulesets, channels and general stuff thats required. That has been fixed by now however, so dw


Talking about BBM stuff... How does Side B exactly work as a reflector? I heard multiple times by now that it can reflect projectiles, but I havent made it work yet. Is there a specific timing? Only air kick/ground kick?



On another note, I recently pulled out my :bomberman: again and got the replays. Gonna put the video up here once its done for the sake of constructive criticism

Says the guy who won't even accept the fact that Isaac's F-tilt is growth

Back on topic, BBM is easily countered by those with quick projectiles or reflectors... So Falco and Pit might be some bad matchups for Bomberman, what do you guys think

Bomberman has enough mobility that I think Falco will have a hard time getting to reflect stuff, but BBM is at the perfect combo weight and falling speed for him. Bthrow is apparently not a semi-spike anymore, but fthrow might still be bad for Falco.

The fact that bombs can be reflected while moving is and hurting BBM when detonated is the main reason why I thunk Falco can counter him + his lasers can interrupt BBM before he can throw something more than a small bomb unless Falco dies, which is difficult since without bombs, BBM's playstyle is extremely limited

BBM's playstyle as of now is just running around and smacking people with his fat head :O and charging Pbombs while he is lonely
