Will a factory reset bring the computer back to its original state, so it runs like new again?
I wanna know because I want to run some.. programs that take up a lot of space but I'm guessing that a lot of the s*** I've downloaded over the years is causing it to go SOSLOW.

Reinstalling whatever operating system you have resets all programs and gets everything working as "new". Although obviously factory reset or reinstalling or whatever you choose to do won't reset any damage that's been done directly to hardware parts like your CPU or GPU. So don't expect it to be completely perfect again.
