Hi guys! New to MCG forums, not to spriting :P

so hi guys, my name is walruslui and I have been a spriter for about 2 years now, I rarely posted my work before due to me still studying the style for several different games I have tried to emulate (mainly the Capcom Vs SnK series)
I hope you guys like what I do!     (not finished, I'll finish it soon) (i just noticed his lower body is colored wrong, I'll fix t)  this isn't even 1/3 of my work, I'll post more when I feel comfortable sharing. have a nice day! |

thanks! uhm, i do have a tumblr, but im not really that active on it
http://walruslui.tumblr.com/ i mostly post my stuff here http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/the- ... 708.0.html since it allows me to also post my observations on how i sprite and what i change, etc. but again, i have a bunch of stuff here on my drive i would love to share, i have a certain "standard" i need to meet in order for me to share them, hence the scarce stuff. since im always improving each and every time, it takes awhile for me to release em  its quite ironic, i mostly spend my time studying how certain pixel art styles work more than actually spriting myself   have a portrait remade into pixel form by me for another fullgame project im apart of!  looks pretty beast ingame too |

Oh you're familair with Mugen? Neat, I was thinking of trying to get into creating characters for Mugen myself.

oh you are? dont hesitate to try, its pretty daunting at first, but learning how it works is pretty simple once you get used it to it, coding and spriting-wise. one tip is:dont be afraid of feedback. some people are blunt and may sound harsh, but feedback is simply to just make you see flaws to help you improve as a creator. Im currently a spriter for 4(!) different fullgame projects for it and im having alot of fun with it. thanks dude! Im a fighting game fanatic and have been for a long time now, even playing some lesser known stuff like The Rumble Fish daily! |
