Keep it around forever. It'll be an artifact. (Who knows we might even get something like SSF2 by others to bring people in down the line)

It's more dependent on whether the kids will stay long enough

I'm confident that the site will remain and bring in newcomers so long as SSF2 is a thing but there will be no 2nd generation if they stay for one post/get scared away

the reason updog works is because it needs the setup. someone needs to say "what's updog" for you to deliver the punchline

you can just say "ligma balls" regardless of the response you get. it's low effort garbage and I am sick of it

I've never seen someone respond with "ligma balls" if they don't get the set-up, and if I have it was probably satire about how stupid it is.

Well EvT we suddenly got a bunch of members a few years ago who were really active and they were all from Brazil. We remember it fondly because some of those guys were either cool and funny or shrieking noobs that got in epic flame wars that went way too far.
