While I was on the BitF Forums, I noticed that they had a system to prevent spam or useless games from being posted. In the Topic Approval Thread, games had to get an approval from at least three users before being posted. Could we do something like that here?

I like this Idea, this could really cut down on the crappy games.

And its perfectly implementable using phpBB3's moderator approval thingy.

Maybe we could just all the topics created without an x number of approvals?

Hm, we can either:

1) Appoint a specific person to create topics while everyone else has to get approval from them or another mod first

OR

2) Turn the forum games system similar to the way the Contests section works where you need special privileges to make topics.

Not number 2.

All of the games are retarded, just in varying amounts.

So that wouldn't work.

Is this for 'upcoming flash', or 'forum games'?

Because if this is for forum games, it's a big waste of time.

My 2 cents.

I'm not for or against, just stating that its possible. Something to do with forum permissions I bet, but I'm too lazy to log on my phpBB3 forum to check.

on topic: I think this is a good idea, it will cut back on newbs recreating topics. but who will mod the forum games? wants to volunteer but can't do to no modship.

No. What if you have to edit the op frequently, like in my MG quiz?

Why don't you just do it the easy way, and make one topic for people to porpouse their games?

If someone create a game without aproval, then users can always tell the creator of the topic not to that, and report that a new unaproved game has been created...

Everyone who creates a game without getting 3 or 4 ok's for other people, will get a warning...

I believe that's an easy rule.
