It's not about if they have relevance with nintendo, it's whether they're a majorly-known industry icon.

Well, I certainly never expected it, but I am definitely excited for it. I'm happy for Cloud's inclusion.
Now that I know some of my most impossible Smash dreams can come true, I just hope the next update includes, "Featuring Dante, from the Devil May Cry Series!"

All three of them make perfect sense. They're gaming icons, which seems to be the standard for third party Smash characters.
That petition's hilarious. I love how f*** FURIOUS everybody is about this. I cannot wait, can't wait for December.

Wow, I missed like 7 pages. Looks like the crowd is mad that yet another spiky-haired swordsman made it into Smash. Wonder if people would have been as mad if a Tales character made it in or Isaac from Golden Sun.
Did anyone understand that Limit Break part? Do any other characters in Smash have a final smash that's both a second form and a Final Smash? If not, it looks like he'll be able to Limit Break in itemless (competitive) matches.

I've heard a rumor that Cloud's addition to the roster was actually Iwata's last wish. Still not defending it but if that's true, we should respect it.
