You guys think Nintendo kinda wasted their trump card by announcing Mega Man? I mean, just about nobody can top that, short of Nintendo reacquiring Banjo Kazooie.

They did exactly what they did with Snake in Brawl. Can't really expect much more. inb4 "but sonic": Sonic was pretty clearly added after Snake was.

I can think of a few ones who would top it: Bano kazooie (mentioned by you) Bomberman Geno Sora Maybe not bomberman, but the others are fan-demands.

Entirely supported Definitely not Are you guys forgetting how huge and iconic Mega Man is?
Or at least was, before Capcom had their current episode?I'm sure he was the most wanted third party character behind Sonic. Meaning there aren't any third party reveals they could do that could beat him in terms of characters people already wanted (Left field characters like Snake not included)

you really think Sora is a possibility? I mean, a lot of the Kingdom Hearts universe is clearly based on Disney property, surely it would be a legal mess for Nintendo to acquire the licensing they'd need to fully represent the character in their game

There's more than another KH original stuff to have it represented in Smash Bros. without Disney being an issue.
I wouldn't want Sora in the game, but there wouldn't be any issues if he was.
