Missing the point.
This is more about sending a message than finding the objective worst company. Does BoA or what have you care about their standing in online communities? Probably not much, at least not as much as a videogame company does. EA isn't the worst company by any stretch, but them taking the poll might actually make them consider their standing with their consumer base, or at the very least result in some amusing PR statements. Getting the message through in an internet poll is pretty clearly a lot more feasible than getting people to stop buying madden. |
