To start off I do miss the carrying kick, but besides that has anyone tried this awesome chain grab: first you grab the opponent then do backward throw and before the release grab him again and repeat, i've done this a few times.

I just did it to Link and it only chains into itself until about 56%. Edit: vs other characters it can only seem to chain into itself twice, against others it can chain up to 40%, and it wont even work on Fox since he falls too fast. I dont think this is a true cg.

I agree. I was skeptical about giving him a teleport roll at first, but I'm all for giving him an Afterimage that looks like that. It was one of the techniques he used most in Classic Dragon Ball, after all.

I can do it on all characters at least twice. Fox I've done up to 3 or 4 times.

IMO, I think it's great! Free 20-50 percent depending on the character. No idea if it can be DId out of though.

Feels a little weird now that characters are getting some unique visual rolls and Goku doesn't... It'd be cool to just have a little visual effect, not the extent of Naruto or Ichigo, but like mentioned, a little fade effect where he was, though you could [still see him. His air dodge also is a bit funny, it would do well with the same afterimage thing.[
Anyway, reverse kamehameha is so dang fun. Starting it with a lot of momentum, zipping by an opponent, and quickly firing it while still having that momentum, makes it a great and relatively safe attack. Also can be used sometimes to chase someone trying to recover below the stage. You can fake out and blast a reverse kamehameha towards the ledge, resulting in them recovering into a stage spike beam.
Just lots of cool little tricks it can do with its extra control now.
I miss his old Up-B but it's more effective now.
Dair is stupidly fun as well, and has some edge canceling shenanigans.

I don't know if it is in the bugs section but since it isn't in this thread I'll post this here. When Goku is in Kaio-Ken mode and grabs an opponent, if he loses Kaio-Ken, the opponent is frozen as long as Goku doesn't do an attack, grab the edge or die. From there, if he does his Up-B while he's on the ground, the enemy teleports to his location and is kicked. If Goku does his Up-B in the air however, he teleports to the enemy's location and kicks them. I'll post a video in a bit.
