Especially making flash tutorials a subsection of coder's paradise (which shouldn't be called coders paradise) better yet delte flash tutorials and just implement a prefix system in coders paradise for all threads like in video gaming. Prefix can just be the name of the language we don't need a pre defined list [PHP] [C++] etc but I guess also have like a few non language specific prefixes people can use |

and I just realised upcoming games shouldn't be in the coding section Make a new section where flash tutorials currently is (in multimedia) called Showcasing or something to put the upcoming flash movies and games sections into, just a section for posting projects that you've made, flash movies or games or w/e |

But doesn't that limit Upcoming games to Flash games only? Or do you mean to just place it as a top-level forum in the position of Flash Tutorials? Also Flash Tutorials are very specific and aren't even necessarily coding all the time, so I dunno about removing it and packing it all into the coding section... (maybe moving it is alright)

Upcoming games wouldn't be a part of flash anything, I mean a new section for showcasing projects, games or movies.

Yep! Except I'd imagine Upcoming User Projects being in the Multimedia category not the Electronics Etc. category.
And tbh I'm still not really sure Flash Tutorials should be a subsection of its own, when topics in Coder's Paradise could just take care of it. I can see what you're saying about not all Flash problems being coding related, though... Maybe Coder's Paradise could be renamed to something less coding specific? Software Design & Development or something? |

Alright, while I'm not Cleod, and I would love the archives back up, from what I know, the archives are down due to a hacking attack on these forums, it seems the archives had some sort of security issue. _________________

Ok, I just don't like the idea of stuffing all of the Flash tutorials with all of the other coding stuff. But I do agree that Coder's Paradise should probably be renamed in either case. Anyway, I almost messed up the forums last time I tried to mass rename topics so...

Upcoming Games also relates to art, music and advertising. Not to mention people are always looking for new people to help on their project, I believe that if you un-bury Upcoming Games then it would be a lot more fitting. Which is what I think Tid is trying to get at here. Heck, Upcoming Games is more active than Coder's Paradise and Flash Tutorials combined.
