Well, let me think back on it a little, this is all I remember right now...

After Itachi recieved his assignment to slaughter the clan, he and Tobi met, not a lot of details on it were given, but I'm guessing Tobi hadbeen watching over the Uchiha for a while and already new what was going on (like he always seems to), and offered to assist Itachi. Why he did so hasn't really been expanded upon yet.

Although it's possible Tobi didn't actually do it, and Itachi just wanted to demonize him so Sasuke would want to kill him as soon as he could, but this isn't likely, since Sasuke acesses that Itachi couldn't have done it on his own.

Tobi hasn't talked about his actions much, but he could be avoiding it so Sasuke will focus on killing Danzo and everyone else Tobi stood against.

These are just theories of course, but not a lot of other info is out there yet.

Yea its all fuzzy. But i think tobi did do it cause in the anime he says to sasuke "just like you said, he couldnt have done it alone remmember"? Or something along those lines.

It may just be easier to assume Sasuke is incredably easy to manipulate or very manipulative himself.

Easily Manipulated- Sasuke has allowed himself to be so blinded by hate for the death of his clan and his brother and Tobi convincing him it is all Konoha's fault that he is now focused on only avenging the his clan by killing Danzo. Easy to believe since he has abandoned all other aspects of his life for his goals several times now.

Manipulative- Sasuke understands that Tobi is responsible but knows he can't kill him yet, so as such is willing to comply with him and avenge himself in his many other aspects and then kill Tobi when the time is right. Very to character decision, since he worked together with Orochimaru simply with the intention of killing him later as well.

Only time will tell

Short and simple: Madara & Itachi did meet and Madara wanted revenge on Konoha but Itatchi said not to waste time with Konoha and to just help him with the massacre. Madara agreed and thats all there was to it.

Lolwut. That makes absolutely no sense. Madara:"I WANT REVENGE ON KONOHA!" Itachi:"Ok.....how about instead you follow konohas orders and take out your own clan that you once ruled". Madara:"DURRR OK".

Madara still had resentment for Konoha. Instead of destroying it, Itatchi asked him to just help annialate the clan (Which Madara also had issues with) The leaders of Konoha had nothing to do with Madara, There was just no way Itatchi could take out the clan himself. Madara accepted and left afterwards.

You jsut said the same thing again. Wheres your proof? I dont ever remember reading that. It makes no sense. And the only issues madara has with the uchiha was he diddnt want to side with the first hokage, but the clan did. And of course the leaders of konoha had alot to do with madara. Danzo and the 2 Konoha elders and the third hokage were the only people who knew the truth about madara. All of them are Konoha leaders. Not to mention he had alot more to do with danzo then we even know yet. That theory makes absolutely no sense, seriously. Why would madara just agree to help itachi take out his own clan without having any history with Itachi.
