Really cool bullet hell + action game that has some light roguelike elements to it, from Vlambeer, the same developer who created that SuperCrateBox game everyone played.
You pick one of several (like 12) very unique characters and go through a whole bunch of randomly generated worlds collecting creative weapons (of which there are a very silly amount) and earning randomly picked binding of isaac style 'mutations' to upgrade your character in various ways.

On Steam now for $12.99, highly recommend. The devs update the game every fortnight with new content and bug/balance fixes, but the game can be played from start to finish without any bugs or missing features, so it very much feels like a complete game.

It really is a great game, shame I can't even look at it without being reminded what a bunch of assholes the developers are.

I don't know about the members who don't frequent Twitter, and I admit whoever's in that crew really knows what they're doing with game design. But Rami Ismael, the face of the show, subscribes heavily to the idea of "discrimination is totally cool if it's against white guys, and you can't argue against me because saying 'systemic oppression' makes me right and makes you ignorant".

yeah the game looks neat tbh but if buying it means an asshat like Rami Ismail gets any of my money then I'd rather pass on it
