I'm hoping for information on the mystery mode, but I'm predicting 1 new fighter and/or 1 echo.

Specifically though...

I'll go out on a limb and say Geno. People really want him, they have Square Enix on board so rights won't be an issue, and they really seem to be listening to fan requests this time around.

Yeah, I'm hoping for this as well. Given how they're packing in as many characters/stages as possible, I wonder if we'll see either Melee's adventure mode or Subspace Emissary return. I think both are fairly unlikely (and while I keep telling myself it won't happen to prevent any disappointment if it doesn't, it's more likely that we're going to get a brand new adventure mode) but I think it would be cool to go through those with all the new/different characters.... and in Subspace's case, better physics.

I think it was cool for them to finally do a stylistic trailer for a character. Could have been paced a little faster maybe, but I think the point is Animal Crossing is super chill like that. Regardless of anything else her fishing rod looks sick as hell though I really want to see it's full capabilities. Plus she might have the best screen shot potential of any newcomer so far and that's cool.

Also RIP the newest death in Smash Ultimate trailers: Any "leak" with Isabelle as Villager Echo.

Noticing a decent amount of flak for the character, with people saying that she's the most unorthodox and undeserving entry in the series, and to that I just point to Wii Fit Trainer. I'm indifferent towards Animal Crossing myself, but it's not like any harm was done. They'll all get used to her eventually

Wonder if we're gonna get any more AT's upgraded to playable characters (lookin at you Dr Kawashima)

I think Shadow as an echo is a legitimate possibility.

Excitebiker I believe is a shoo-in as the NES rep, since Balloon Fighter isn't looking very likely as Villager still has his upB.

Maybe if you beat the assist trophy enough times he'll challenge you as a character. Seriously though if Waluigi isn't in I'm not buying the game at full price. Sales only.

I mean Pichu in SSF2 is both character and AT, and we've clearly seen Sakurai copy SSF2 in their inclusion of Simon Belmont, so I won't be surprised if he steals SSF2's ideas again
