Injustice 2 has been announced. Supergirl's in it, everyone now has battle armor, and that's all we know.

I hope we'll get more varied heroes/villains this time and also not Scorpion.

I got bored with the first game pretty quickly so I'm not too hyped tbh. It looks like the Iron Man armour may be this games's Gimmick and I'm kinda curious about it.

whole fighting games having a gimmick doesn't end up good imo

making a possibly unique concept and putting it on every character takes away the unique-ness; depending on what it is it'd probably be better for just one character

So apparently, the gimmick behind Injustice 2 is that you can customize each character's appearance and edit their moveset to suit your fancy? Cool.

And that comment about controlling how your characters develop... is that going to be like Amiibo training in Smash 4?

I can't wait to learn more about this game at E3 next week.

That's what I'm hoping doesn't happen. After the horrendous mess that MKX's PC port turned out to be, I'm hoping NRS and WB have learned their lessons...

The voice in the trailer is also supposedly the voice of Rā's al Ghūl which may be a hint at his inclusion down the line?

I actually really hope Dr. Fate becomes playable in this one.

In the Injustice side comic, he's currently trapped in a chaos dimension after sacrificing himself to seal away Trigon and Mr. Mxyzptlk. Not to mention that the power armor gimmick would sort of run counter to his order magic-based style. So don't get your hopes up.
I don't know why Trigon appears in the game either.

The Armor reliance is actually kind of a bummer because there are quite some characters that would indeed feel super weird with armor like Zantanna, Dr. Fate and Constatine. I hope the armor gimmick doesn't limit the roster.

I was about to say that the number of people who died so far would limit the roster more, but then I remembered half of the original game's roster came from Earth-1.

The developers seem to be boasting a very large roster so I'm not worried.

EDIT: Just confirmed that there will be no PC version. This doesn't really come as a surprise considering how horrendous the PC ports of MKX and Batman Arkham Knight turned out to be but it's still a bummer nonetheless.

Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle added to the Injustice 2 Roster.

I know the game is still a WIP but those graphics are genuinely Pretty Bad.
