From what I see, it seems to be Dedede, or Takamaru (I don't know many characters with Red and White Clothes)
Considering the size of the sprite, it's possible that is Dedede.

maybe it's just me, but if you look at the blue box in one of the pictures (the one with the monitors) one of the stickers on the box looks like Cloud Strife.

I really want Wolf in because he has the most different moveset out of the SF characters and he's my favourite character.

My bet? The Ice Climbers. They deserve it. They are now 30, are well known and loved veterans and everyone is sad they arent in Smash 4. Id be so hyped if they could make it!

Wolf is not a clone, granted. But his special moves are mostly copies of Fox's, not to mention the unoriginal Landmaster.
And I seriously think most of his normal attacks have anything to do with the character (just look at his Up-Smash)
Krystal would be more unique in my opinion. Just give her Fox's Staff in Star Fox Adventures and some magic abilities and you have a completely new character. Not to mention she doesn't need the Copy-Pasted Landmaster.
But who I am to judge?

I am speculating either King Dedede, Skull Kid, OR Ice Climbers! They probably will not reveal the new character until later in the afternoon into tonight though.
