By bad I meant OP, in fact people were complaining about that move shortly after TSON showed how it can body someone if they don't sweetspot the ledge.

I honestly don't know what to do
In any Smash Game, if the game is lagging characters like Ness are immediately put at a disadvantage
My best advice is to watch the lil' lightning ball and hold down your desired direction for a bit until you see it move
Doing a quick WDSAW/WASDW won't exactly help you so just take your time with things and just do it nice n' slow

Yea, and it's easy controlling his PK Thunder when you get used to it. The only thing that can throw me off is actual lag. Seriously, as long as you play with people who don't lag, you'll get use to controlling it; it's not something that you can teach per say.

I play lots of Nesses who don't seem to have as much of a problem with this, which leads me to believe it's very doable with practice. Try getting better at controlling where on Ness's body the projectile hits, as that can have a lot of control over where he goes and it's easy to mix up quickly, which makes your recovery stronger.
