Can someone please explain to me what Charizard's Rock Smash is supposed to do. I mean it seams a little worthless to the point where I forget that it even exists when I play with Charizard.

charizard pulls a boulder out of the infinite space and smashes it with his head. it can damage enemies when it's exiting the infinite space, or when charizard smashes it, because small fragments of the rock are sent flying nearby for a short time before returning to the infinite space. the attack is mostly used for damaging enemies and changing their x and y positions in order to put charizard in a more advantageous position or force them into a situation where they cannot recover back onto the stage, thus destroying one of their stocks and increasing charizard's relative lead

It's mainly used for a counter attack due to it granting super armor.
