I'm beyond ecstatic for LUFFY! I've been waiting for him to be in the game since Naruto was added. I wasn't expecting his specials to be grappling moves, I thought it be a mix of Gear 3rd moves and strong Gum Gum techniques but I'm fine with it since I have a good guess what the final smash is.
Either way, I can't wait to try him, and even if he isn't that good in the beginning to main him, there's always updates so.....GREAT JOB DEVS!! I was trying to keep his moveset a surprise, but eh, Great Pirate Colosseum got me curious for this game. Wasn't expecting a grappler, but I like it.
Wonder if his FS will be more physical? A Gear Second or Third transformation would be too obvious. I'd guess putting Haki onto his attacks, change some stuff like Pistol to Red Hawk, Gattling to Elephant Gattling, maybe start or end with a Conqueror's burst. I don't know about including Gear Fourth though. The upside of adding Luffy later is that he can be more up-to-date, even if a lot of his moves seem older. Still, since the others are capped at SSJ1, 4Tails and Bankai, there's no real need to give him something so recent. |

What exactly does Luffy´s N-Spec do? Just his grab but long ranged?

It's seems to launch in an angle that may lead to followups, but I suppose so.
