Tekun smiled and cracked his neck and shoulder blades as he rotated both arms and then swung his blade at air and then again and followed through going into a stance. His blade pointed at his foe, held close to his face and hand on the side. He stood for a moment and grinned.

"Don't disapoint me." He stated still grinning he then swung his blade holding it back at the side, scraping it slightly along the ground as went into a mad dash at his target, building up energy in his blade as he did it.

"I assure you, you will not be" She'd say strictly with a confidence thick in her tone; facial expressions unwavering. Running her gauntleted fingers across the surface of her weapon, the sphere of energy grinding against it emitting bright sparks. Her hand would come off from the tip; Heavenly orb still apparent as it resumed orbiting around her wrist; going up along her arm to her elbow before orbiting back on down. She remained perfectly calm; wings stretched proudly. This was the power of Valhalla, a power bestowed upon her after having experienced years of proving her worth and mettle. Green eyes pulled back upon her frantic target as he approached, sensing the energy he began to gather. This alerted her to strike and to do so quickly. Wings folding onto her back, she sped forward; clutching her left arm so that her shield levitated in front of her abdomen, sword reared back as if ready to impale its target and skewer, a battle ready position. The sphere would speed up in its course, the light it gave off flickering; one could see that within this sphere, a small circular particle of radiance was spinning on its side and growing larger in size. It would soon meet with the out-sphere it was contained in at the rate in which it grew. What this meant or would do would remain to be seen.

She would do the very best in her power not to kill her opponent. Believing enough death had already been planted upon this grounds soil. Reluctant to kill off her very comrade. There must be a way to bring him about to his senses.. she pondered to herself, knowing that perhaps there was not.. and this would very well be to the death.

"Good!" He said loudly and with exultation his red feral eyes set on his target, his former ally and friend. Deep down a voice echoed, why, why am I doing this. But it was drowned out in a vortext of chaos, pride, lust, and death. As he approached he raised his blade, gathering enough energy to unleash another wave. His opponent had landed and was no longer hovering, he enjoyed the thought of what he would do. He raised his blade as he approached, now thrity or so feet away and slammed it into the ground catapolting him self into the air somewhat as he unleashed a larger shockwave that went along the ground, unleashing the power of earth and rock. Spikes protruded out of the ground as the earth shifted and shook. As the spikes raced towards althea, they grew larger and more erradict and jagged, as they reached their peak, they began to receeded into the ground. Tekun racing along side them, waiting for his opponent to make her move.

The distance between them quickly began to lessen as they rushed towards eachother in battle; a fight she never wanted..

"Hmph" Her sight narrowed upon him; she would venture to meet his upsurging attack. Stabbing her ice brand into the soil as she rushed, churning up gravel and dirt before she would shout. "Egust!", With her cry, her blade spread out an icy shock wave; dispersing over the ground, it made blades of grass heavy with icicles; giving the earth a layer of frost. It soon met with his Upheaval of rock; overtaking the rising rugged columns in ice, tinting the brown with teal. The ice served to stall and eventually freeze the attack as it encased it and much of their battlefield.

She would pull her weapon out from the soil, now up close to her adversary; she would spread her wings out widely to help bring her sprint to a complete stop, and whisk her weapon across his midsection in one fell swing. Meanwhile she brought her other hand to face him and extended her fingers; the orbiting sphere responded to this movement and hurried to her palm. The inner sphere now reached the outer; Althea grinned as it did so..

The orb burst in a divine blinding light. Now to a normal man or fiend, this energy would engulf them and swallow them whole. Setting them a-fire with purifying flames. She knew however that this wouldn't be the case, not today. Just as the last opponent she faced with such fierce drive in their heart. It would not incinerate them, he was much too powerful for that; however, the flash worked to momentarily disturb his sight, and the energy would at least sting to his skin. Making for an ample opening attack.

The blast burned Tekun, though he was not incinerated, he still became burned slightly by the attack as well as blinded by the flash of light. As both attacks were unleashed, he still swung following through, he was fairly certain he hit her, despite his lack of visability. He felt a wound being made. Sensed, blood on his blade. It may not have been very large, or it could have been large, but he hit something. He felt a blade go into his side, but stopped as his own blade collided with it, pushing it away. His side felt cold, he knew enough the ice brand had hit. He waited, listening to what Althea was going to do, relying on his other senses and not his sight for the moment.

With a rough scrape of metal, her chest plate had torn under his slash, taking a cut across her stomach area. She would cringe in the pain but otherwise showed no difference. Her ice bran as narrow sliced across his chest as well; warm blood quickly freezing upon the edge of her weapon. The flash dispersing.

The two weapons had then met in a flurry of steel, pushing both back. She would hop backwards; her blood slipping down from her fresh wound and over her stable armor, staining the green with a crimson red. She would not waver however; rearing her weapon back and slanting it downward, her free hand grasping under the very edge of the tip. Althea would turn on her heel; the free hand slipping down to grip the handle as well mid-twist; and swing her blade across the ground towards him. The extra hand was indeed needed; as she had been focusing the blade with her mild touch of the tip.

The end cut along the earth like butter; a frosty gust swirling around it. Upon emerging from the earth, tip vertically aiming towards him. Another pillar of ice would form, building up around her adversary's very feet; the column curved with the cut of her weapon against the wind, Giving it an odd shape. The purpose of the attack was to knock him clear overhead and thus create more distance, or in the very least it would shatter as it met his body; making for an elemental attack. Whatever the outcome, her blade would swiftly slip back into its reared position as her other arm would bring the floating shield towards her front to defend.

Tekun backed up as the blades collided and breathed heavily and laughed as he beganto charge forward almost as though he was going to go for a tackle, his blade angled in an odd way. As his opponent swung, he felt the pillar of ice curved into his direction, slamming into him, shattering and shredding his trenchcoat. He held his ground, but now lost half his coat, revealing no armor but a plain white T shirt, cut up and stained crimson from several cuts.

He stopped in his tracks and took his blade, bring it along his chest as he cut it, causing the wound to bleed all over his blade. He swung his blade, and the blood splattered, but creating a visible aura around the blade. Dark red and giving off a malevolent feeling, one that grew by the second. It was clear Tekun was planning somethingas he bgena to steadily approach.

Her ice had shattered over his body leaving him looking rather ragged. She then watched in curiosity as he cut himself and produced the aura surrounding his weapon. "Interesting.." She'd say aloud. He was now approaching her, he would be making a move soon, the question was, what to do about it.

She would opt to change her tactics; placing her free hand over the flat of her weapon once more; she grazed her palm across it, A shining array of sparks following her movement. As it trailed over it, the ice turned into white steel, the symbols remaining as they were. she'd bring her hand off the tip, revealing the full transformation of the weapon. It was completely holy based now instead of ice based. With the sword changed, she would grip both hands at its grip, holding it securely in front of her, in a defensive maneuver. Her shield floating over at her side.

He ran faster then he had ever done before at Althea, the insanity in his eyes seemed to reach its max point, despite what it looked like. He let the wound bleed over is body as he rushed. He cackled a little in joy as the blade began to emit some red electricity, in addition with the aura, slowly, becoming more violent, reflecting his inner madness. He began to til his blade slightly, noticing the new style. His eyes widened, holy now, it would be interesting to face an opponent like this, he loved it. Soon, the aura of the blade become truly violent, an pulsed with energy, and then the lightning was almost done, erraddicly going about, yet not shocking Tekun.

"Hmph.." , Gazing at the incoming fighter, she would attempt to build a defense for his incoming attack. Both hands at her weapons grip, she would turn it so the flat would face her and bring it to her forehead, shutting her eyes as the blade then shined. the symbols upon the flat would each fade one by one, then replaced by spheres of teal light. Spirits unto their own.

Each Orb would slide up the blade and break off at the tip, 3 in all; the symbols upon her blade were now gone, making it an average white steel sword without magical properties, but she now had 3 assistants. These orbs were wisps, otherworldly souls that worked to enchant her blade. Each seemed to be a-fire in their teal color, inside an almost completely transparent white force field. Within this field were humanoid figures, small and hard to distinguish. These were the wisps themselves.

Freed, these wisps dispersed around her in a triangular fashion, going in circles around her form as she readied her blade into position once more. Now ready for his onslaught. The small beings within the fields gabbered to eachother in a fast paced foreign language before Althea would speak. "Xalea, Umeki, Rozko", "Prism!" The 3 spirits reacted to her command, their orbit around her quickening as they cast 3 plate-like fields of their own. Like fragments to a wall, these magical plates each were about 3 feet in height and 1 foot in width. Each kept in pace with the spirits , floating but an inch apart from them.

Of purely arcane properties, these shields were ample against magical attacks, while physical attacks would pass through un-phased, However, a physical being would find a burning sensation as their flesh would meet their surfaces, calling for a cautionary approach.

By the time Tekun was in attacking distance, he was ready to unleash his atatck, but would not just yet. He continued running, seeingthese three whisp shields now in place. He started to spin his blade and began dashing faster. He was now fifteen feet away from his target. he leapt. The electricity stopped for but a moment and he swung. Unleashing a large red wave of death, Half magic and half physical, part of the blast hardened into sharp, piercing entities, similar to that of ice shards or knives coming at an opponent, but with much more mass to them. A direct attack would break armor. Tekun inteneded to follow the blast and get an attack in after words. To follow through with the attack, even if the barriers would burn and sear, it mattered not to him.

The 3 plates congregated in front of her as she hoisted her shield to defend, the blast would hit into the barriers, making the magical aspect to the attack nullified by 80%, the full physical blow and the remainder of the arcane attack smashed into her shield, the symbol upon it flashing as it took the blow, The last bits of the magical portion hit null upon her shield, however taking the full force of the physical aspect would send her skidding backwards. feet rushing against the gravel; a single large crack appearing before the surface of the shield. The power had been enough to tread over the edges of her bulwark defense; smashing against her right pauldron and shattered it to bits, revealing bloodied flesh underneath.

Althea remained stead fast, pulling her shield from her as the 3 wisps resumed their prior positioning. He was preparing a follow up attack she could see "Frontward phalanx!" she ordered, the wisp controlled plates lining in front of her, setting up so he'd run through them in his rush towards her, with both hands clutching her sword; readying it to slash; she herself would run forward towards him into the 3 barriers; though she herself wouldn't feel the burning.

Tekun saw the crack as he was coming down, there was no way to avoid the barrier, but he never intended on such in the first place. His new goal was to crack open the shield and shatter it. He landed and began a rush and jumped, bring the sword above his head and quickly letting it charge as he passed through the barrier, he felt a burning sensations, as though he had just been lit a blaze, however, with that he felt his sword gain something out of it, perhaps enough he needed to gain that extra boast of power. He clenched his teeth and pulled through it. He then swung down hard against the crack on her shield, ignoring all other consequences.

Her shield took the blow with a piercing sound of clashing steel. with the power he had garnered within his attack. She was pushed back slightly further grunting as he did so, another deep crack had been made, He was a worthy opponent indeed. Though, he had left himself open to a counter maneuver with his bloodlust. Thrusting her blade towards his open side, she sought to cut into his abdomen while he was striking her shield. The wisps had taken this time to return to their owner, loosing the frontward phalanx formation, they were quick to return to her aid. They dropped the spell barrier now that the target was close quarters and opted to hone in on him. The 3 would swiftly compass around him, firing small cleansing fireballs from their hands, which would combust upon him, aiming specifically for his wounds. Their attacks would serve as little better than distraction tactics, however over time they would take their toll if not dealt with.

Tekun attempted to dodge the blow to his adominal area but was scraved, the blade slashign across side, blood squirting from the wound. As he struck hard against the shield again, a fire ball hit his back, scorching it. Another was fired and he blocked it, his sword gaining a bit of a magical property from it. Fire. He focused his energies on the sword as he swung, not releasing what he had absorbed. He brought his sword across, aiming for the exposed flesh on her shoulder and the bring it across to damage the shield further. He knew it would not last.
