They have to rebalance the Sandshrew line's stat bases if they want anyone to appreciate them
They're cute and cool designs but man are they beyond f*** useless

The hype died because the company took out the things that made the game magical to begin with and didn't patch in a replacement for it in time
Meta formed, game is too easy to exploit and the higher you go the more frustrating it becomes to play.

idk if the hype specifically died lol, i live in a pretty rural area and the gyms are always very hotly contested every day, and pokestops get lures placed at them pretty regularly.
there's just less people making a big deal out of it online because it's been out for a month+ now, that's how popular things work

Its not quite as good as the second game and it has a couple flaws but its definitely worth playing. When you get to trade gold for items, don't buy reviver seeds. They're way too easy to obtain and make the game too easy.

The game is really that good? I've played Shiren the Wanderer but I've always thought this game was just a carbon copy of it so I never bothered looking at it.
