Its ok.. Heres the roster list for Soul Calibur 5:
Siegfried, Patroklos, Natsu, Zwei, Pyrrha, Hilde, Mitsurugi, Ivy, Maxi, Astaroth, Voldo, Tira, Viola, Raphael, Nightmare, Cervantes, Yoshimitsu, Dampierre (Pre-order), Leixia, Xiba, Aeon Calcos, Algol, Edge Master, Ezio Auditore, Elysium, Kilik, Patsuka ("alpha" Patroklos), Omega Pyrrha, and Devil Jin

However, there is one more spot left so it could be that another character could be coming its way

My brother pre-ordered it a few days ago, whoopee.

Here's hoping that the cut characters make it into the game as at least bonus characters, like Li Long, Arthur, etc. were in SCIII.

And, actually, Aeon Calcos IS Lizardman- he just gained back more of his soul. But yeah, the moveset change doesn't make sense...

I'm mostly just going to play around with the Character Creation.

I was referring to the moveset but thanks for the information

Natsu just isn't the same as Taki.

*HUGE INFO/GAMEPLAY SPOILERS*
A video has been released for the new characters and a secret stage (ignore the man talking in the BG if you'd like)
YouTube Video:

Elysium,EdgeMaster (obviously), and Kilik are all-style based characters. They can use any weapon they want but its selected randomly
Patroklos represents the Soul Calibur while Phyrra represents the Soul Edge
α Patroklos's plays similar to Setsuka while Ω Phyrra is a buffed/strong version of her original self
Patrolklos and Phyrra are indeed brother/sister

Devil Jin is not confirmed in the game. Only his style. This means that there could be another character left to reveal other than Dampierre's slot

Aren't all the slots full though? Algol goes in the slot on the bottom that is blank in the pictures of Kilik and such, and I'm pretty sure the slot in the bottom left is Bonus Characters while the slot in the bottom right is custom characters.

I think this outta be bumped since the game has come out since the last post.

I've really been enjoying the game so far, thought to be honest I've really just been sticking in characters from my writings in the create a soul mode XD.
Still, gameplay's pretty smooth, roster is mostly pretty nice, I think it's a pretty good game, particularly if you've always wanted a good place to design a character from this time period.
Or you know, beat up your created version of the worst character ever made

This game is absolutely amazing. As a Taki main, I can say that Natsu filled the gap quite well, and then some. The game is incredibly clean, and fresh. Graphics are great. Gameplay is smooth.

Best SC so far. Finally beat Soul Calibur II.

I heard this game was terrible actually. Lack of character endings, lack of story mode, lack of 1-P modes, and badly balanced roster iirc. I saw these things pointed out in a bunch of reviews.

I'll admit, while I am really enjoying it, it probably wasn't worth 60 bucks. Yeah it has a few flaws to it, but it does have a story mode which does tell character's backgrounds and shows you how they end up pretty well.

I'd have like Chronicle of the Sword back, but I'm probably the only one...

Haven't played it yet but my friend tells me that a bunch of my favourite characters have been replaced.

This is why I want another copy of Soul Calibur 2.

Bull crap. This is probably the most balanced SC game yet. All characters are useful to a similar level and the movesets of the characters are very unique. Its gameplay, (the thing that actually matters) is also amazing. Feels fresh as the days of SCII, but refined to be smoother. Lets not forget this game has like the best online that has ever been made for fighting game.

Why do people forget that fighting games are about gameplay, multi-player content, online?
