Back in Brawl I used to play 99-minute matches in Big Blue so I could get that 1000 KO milestone.
And back in Melee I had to play 99 stock matches of Bowser vs a LV 1 Pichu on Temple to unlock Mewtwo because I didn't have a 2nd controller.
Fortunately I could set it overnight so I didn't have to watch the fight by itself.

seriously tho, I accidentally started it, and I had this weird urge to finish it. But after about 5 stocks I was tired, so I just left my 3ds on and played on my pc

I avoid the AC Cloud, female Robin/Corrin, and black or white alts simply because everyone uses them
I use blue Robin/Corrin, Soldier Cloud, Yellow Sheik, and other alts to avoid overlapping with opponents

I just use default for everyone, I don't see the interest in using alternate, but I do think they look good.
