-Confusing light source
-HIS left arm looks unproportional to his right. If its hanging straight down and the others bent, they shouldnt reach down the same length.
-Lack of a neck
-Unless thats a skin-tight shirt, the little part of the hand that you can see should be a darker skin shade. Or, is that not even the hand, but rather the cuffs of the shirt/jacket? If so, the arms are much too long and there wouldnt be room in the pockets for the hands.

One more shade and that's pillow'd son.

I'm all for custom styles, but I believe that you should get better at established styles before you attempt to create your own. Learn the tricks of the trade? That sort of thing.

I like this one much better, tbh.
However, there are still a few places the light source is out of place.
Looking at the sprite as a basis, I've concluded that the light source is from our right.
But on his left arm, if you separate it from the whole, it looks like its light source is from the left.
Which doesn't make any sense with shadowing, because it should actually have more shading on our right side due to partially being covered by his body.
Next point, his visible eye. The white surrounding it seems to follow the same light source as the arm I just mentioned. The left. The grey should be on our left side, the light should be on our right. This goes for both pics.
That's my only beef with this pic, other than some minor random lightening on the outline. It looks good in most places, but I'm confused on a few.

I'll have to fix the shading, then.
The light source is supposed to be coming from the top right. :/

Try and make a transparent backround you won't regret it later.

If you're going to grovel for C+C and expect good news, don't. I avoided posting because I didn't have anything positive to say, but now that you've cast aside a valid critique, I have no guilty conscience when I say:

It looks like a 55 year old in a 6 year old's body.

The face is horribly overshaded compared to the three shades you used on the clothes.

There is no apparent light source.

the hands (I think that's what they are) in the second row are not only anatomically incorrect (flipped upside down) the fingers are terribly disfigured.

Next time you beg for a 'C+C', don't cast aside someone who is willing to stop and help you.

But all he said was that he looks old and fat.
What you gave was actually good C+C.
I can try to give a more definate light source and fix the hands.
