From my point of view, this looks like EyeToy with voice recognition software. Tis all.

I love how everyone is ripping off Wii, so unoriginal. Sony is doing the same thing

Except by actually making it good.

I just hope they still make games you use the controller with, cause with FPS games there are only so many steps you can take before your face is embedded in your television.

I guess PS3 and Xbox need to improve this or they'll live in the wii's shadow with "in-gaming experience"

Im sorry but... No one plays wii, besides little kids and nintendo fan boys.

you do realize that by saying that you have made yourself seem like a complete tool to every competant person here, right? just checking.

anyway, about this whole "Natal" kerfuffle. My first thought is that really want to punch that guy who did the demo at E3 (and on Jimmy Fallon last night, btw). You know, the fat one with the stupid glasses whose name I can't remember? He just has one of those attitudes and appearances that just make you wann slug 'em right in the face (and in his case break his dumbass sunglasses. Seriously, what's up with those? He wears them inside! While playing video games! What the f***?)

That aside, I do think this looks really cool. While it's clearly an attempt to seem more like Nintendo and try and be as successful as them, it could be a really fun expieriance IF they can pull it off. My concern is that it'll take forever to perfect and release and when it is, it may cost a ridiculous amount of money (a la PS3). It could also end up being glitchy and unresponsive. The biggest issue I think is that the Xbox's target audience largely doesn't give a sh*t. It has always pandered to the hardcore FPS players, and this thing appeals to pretty much the exact opposite. That is to say, how many people will go out and buy an Xbox and Natal just to play what will probably be a very limited game library?

Basically, this thing could either be the greatest thing ever or fail horribly. We'll have to wait and see...

it is an add-on to the 360, and it was playable at E3, turns out it works really well, most people there thought like you did.
and it is an eye toy like thing, using software, it is going to be rather cheap.

I played metroid prime 3 on it, and I will play Red Steel 2 on it.
