Damn, seems like Lyn was just about ready to ship out. I'm glad they made her a proper Blade Lord and not just an animated assist trophy.

i mean, her side special is pretty useless. it's like a s*** version of Lucario's. and her down special does absolutely nothing

this is a long shot, but does anyone here have anything insightful to offer about playing the samus matchup against a very reserved, laser heavy falco?
i've had trouble at the last few tourneys i've been to due to this, several different players mind you. rushdown falcos i deal with by standing my ground and doing a lot of microspacing, punishing their hits on my shield or whiffs with ftilt or shield->upb, but if they just keep their distance and laser i need to approach and i just ALWAYS get punished for it because falco f*** sucks.

Someone modded Lyn and gave her her down special that was meant to be in.

Also her side special isn't useless, it's basically like a forward roll(It provides invinciblility and you can turn around during it) so it's just for stylish mixups.

If a falco is literally just not advancing with his lasers than you should be able to encroach on his space. Move forward intelligently without committing to something dumb like jumping in. Use shield/missiles/platfroms to move toward him. The goal is to stay about a ftilt's distance away at all times and play from there. Falco is uncomfortable at that range and will have to commit to something eventually.

if smash 5 just ports the chars over again they're probably going to keep almost all of them again lol

Smash Bros NX is just going to be the entire roster with slightly updated visuals and no lag spikes on pause with all of the DLC included plus some ice climbers and splattoons because Sakurai probably isn't going to make it. Smash bros woo u platinum edition.
