I really hope they don't. Final Forms are unoriginal and boring, especially when multiple characters have them. I was fine with them in Brawl, because there were only two and they were COMPLETELY different concepts, but any more than that is pushing it.

Not a bunch of them, just a few. Link: Fierce Deity

But why do that when you could just come up with a unique attack themed to the character
a final smash isn't unique when it's just "AND THEN THE CHARACTER GETS STRONGER AND COOLER"

What if they got an entirely new move-set when in their final form, with a bunch of unique attacks?

And instead of it being a Final Form, he could just transform into the character, do an attack, then transform back.

That's still not a creative Final Smash, because it's not introducing anything new. They're still just a Smashbros character, they just happen to have a more broken moveset.

Well does anyone else think Mario's Final Smash should change? Instead of a Fire Flower, he could use a ? block that could pop up, and when Mario hits it he gets a random power-up (fire flower, hammer suit, feather, etc.) and the power up changes his standard special, and he keeps it for 1 minute and if you hold B for 5 seconds it would use the power up like his current final smash.

All of a sudden, I just remembered the word "Final" in Final Smash, so I guess that makes sense?

Getting onto the topic of Final Smashes we hope to see changed, here's another video by cjszero on this particular subject: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GNVj2-MYfk

Let's use that as a stepping stone for discussion. Personally, I agree with everything he said except for Super Sonic being the number-one best Final Smash but this is about the five he said were the worst.

Super Sonic is the best if you're half decent with it though.
Also wtf at Jigglypuff being on the worst 5 list. It's an AMAZING final smash if you can get them off stage first. Use it in mid-air, just above the ledge they're trying to get to, there is no way in hell they'll make it back.
I'll agree on Peach's being s*** though.

This is true, I just disagree from a balance standpoint. But then again, what's the point of balance in Final Smashes?

I don't know, I guess I just hate being a victim of Super Sonic in Brawl...

I never use Super Sonic for multiple targets unless they're close to each other. I just hit the opponent, have them fly up, then hit them again while they're in midair. Repeat as many times until KO'd, then move onto the next character.
SO TRY THAT. :V

OK that's fine and dandy, but what's your opinions on the Final Smashes he said were the worst?

EDIT: Tid, I already know you commented on it.

I love how the guy was talking s*** about Lucario's final smash not catching up, when in all the matches shown, the r-tarded computer aims it the other way for a second, then aims back. Also, King Dedede's final smash easy to dodge? Not on a small stage. That guy is full of it on so many levels.

Edit: Yeah, I can't vouch for Peach though...

Lucario isn't as bad as he makes him out to be, but he's still pretty eh at best.
Jigglypuff, like I said, is actually a very good Final Smash.
Peach is indeed the worst in the game.

Top 5 imo:
1. Critical Hit (Marth). High knockback. VERY. High.
2. Blue Falcon (King Dedede of course). Again, high knockback. Only downside is that it can be hard to hit with.
3. Triforce Slash. Fine targeting mixed with the fact it's a long Final Smash, so idiots can get you MOAR KO's.
4. Great Aether. Basically, what the video maker said about it.
5. Mario Finale. Works great when you use it an an edge. And I mean the edge as in facing OUTWARDS. Because of epic edgeguarding.

I hate when people say that if you miss in the air, you're gonna self-destruct. If you press the damn button again before you reach the blast line it'll stop you from going any further!
