so Street Fighter 5 was announced today i believe i can't find a video because they are being killed and sent to the private abyss

anyways all i can think is f*** finally the reign of 4 is over.

Well it honestly looks pretty similar to IV already but there's only a few seconds of footage so I won't be dumb and say nothing's changed

The fact that it's Street Fighter V and not Super Ultra Street Fighter IV Turbo Plus Championship Edition Arcade Edition' is already a good sign at least

If they bring Karin back I'll buy it instantly

I actually think the updated versions of SFIV were well spaced apart (aside from Arcade Edition) and were cheap enough anyway

It's stupid as hell that they milked IV for six years but I don't have much of an issue with the way they did it

Also tbh I'd prefer a smaller roster anyway because it'd make the game a lot more focused

Or we can have another ten characters with hadoukens, who knows

USFIV just got confirmed for PS4 as well lmao

At least now they can't get away with making SFV just a reskin

You lied to us, Capcom. You said Street Fighter V would be the "true intended," SFIII. Yet, Ryu and Chun-Li are here.

I also dislike that we have gotten footage of this so early. They aren't even done adding to Ultra SF4 yet. I would have liked it if they waited until about mid 2015 to release this.

EDIT: And hell yes to Capcom adding EX characters! They need to buy those characters made by Akira. The whole dev team were ex-Capcom employees too.

Same with Karin, I don't think we'll ever see her again .


But nah, At least Chun-Li isn't overly muscular by the look of it, the backgrounds look way different as well. I like it.
But we can't say a lot until we see something larger.

Based on that trailer, I noticed that juggles will probably be more prominent and you can OTG. Also noticed a guard gauge.

Anyways, I'm pretty hype for this game, and if the rumors of this taking place after SF3 are true, then that means Alex can come back (I also wanna see Q and Oro again).

There was also a wall crush, and something that looked like a Power up feature from Ryu, so this all looks pretty interesting.

They just need to make sure Makoto is still there

On the other hand, I heard people saying that in the gameplay trailer Ryu's stance changes for a bit to something similar to Makoto's.

I like playing Juri most i haven't played street fighter 4 past super so im not sure if there is some story reason she can't be in.
