LBW Link was already sorta in Brawl...
There was that texture/palette swap that was the orange hair, multicolored hair, and brown tights, wasn't there?
Admittedly it was just a color, but the new game's looks pretty much like Toon Link, even if he is different.

I am mistaken? Isn't one of the big things about LBW that it's a retraux to the originals and his colors are more or less the same?

It must be like that view of the Pyro Sphere. It must be a screen that cannot be seen ingame. That is why it doesn't show the platform.

It didn't predict it... They used the same concept colors (Brown/Auburn hair, brown sleeves, lighter tunic, etc.) from the old games for LBW, which Brawl referenced. That means it's more or less the same colors. It's a coincidence more than it is a reference.

Edit: Also, it's been a week. I'm surprised we didn't get any sort of character or level reveal for the new Pokemon release.
